Hi apwroblewski, I used this recipe to make a 30ml bottle of juice. It's fantastic and it was gone in two days, so I made more and let this dude that buys all his juice from me try it and he loves it so I've been churning this stuff out like it was liquid gold! Thanks for your contribution. I have both regular and Belgium Waffle flavoring that I don't know what to do with. I was happy to see you have a recipe for Cina-waffles... I'm going to try that one next. Thanks again.
I'm going to make this but I'll have to use Capella Vanilla custard V1 and a different cream (I have a few to choose from)
How would you compare %'s of the custard? I've never used TPA VC but I think 3%, maybe will be enough for it to be present without overpowering the Bavarian Cream which I adore!
Tried this recipe 3 times so far and its amazing. I didn't have cheesecake graham crust the first time so I used newyork cheesecake and graham cracker together. Tried it the other times using the recommended flavors and still tasted good. Thank you for the awesome recipe I love this flavor!
Awesome recipe! This has easily become my favorite recipe, my ADV TOP SPOT! Thank you for this, can't get enough folks this recipe is amazing, must try!! I've made 3 yes three 120 ml batch so far. Well really 4 but dropped and broke one once :( Usually a hot bath and 3 day steep is all this needs. I found flavor (for me) doesn't change much over 3 days. Have steeped 3, 7, and 14 days and all tasted the same.
I make this often for my bro in law who likes the mothers milk and says it's even better than the premium store bought juice. Well done on this recipe!
Love the stuff, have already made about 200ml of it. my go to adv at the moment ! pretty good straight out of the bottle but after 2 week steep its absolutely awesome
Love this juice, a nice twist on two greats. Kudos to you! The BV really makes it shine. Sweet creamy Strawberry cheesecake with a graham cracker crust.
#WillowJuice anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. Creams usually take about 2 weeks minimum, Custards don't even start to really shine until after a month IMHO. So at least 2 weeks. I tested my batch every week, it was good out of the gate, but by week 3 it is a very nice vape.
melody it wouldn't be the same recipe but give it a try, might be something amazing, take notes and if good post it. Daour all recipes can be 0 nic just use the amount of pg or vg instead of nic in this case 0.9 mls of either.
just have to say thanks for the recipe. after a 2week steep it is a good ADV and I am picky, wind up pouring a lot of juice down the drain. This is a keeper tanks
Just tried this recepie works great! Thanks. I just tried it after a day I can only imagine how it will taste after 2-3 weeks. The only difference is I tried a 30pg/70vg mix.
I made 60ml gave it a hot bath and tried liked it. On the 2nd day I put it into my home made shaker for around 8 hours (heating it up once in awhile) tried it again and loved it. I have made 4oz for myself and 2 for a friend. Thank you for posting
Wow this is amazing! great recipe. For everyone for easy shopping go to cathousevapor.com (im not promoting but I am lol) instead of buying from all these places buy from there they had all these ingredients, I also got all the ingredients for strawberry shortcake bar see how that one goes, but this one is amazing. thanks again ~molotovgod
Came back to it and 20ml I made has gone in 2 days. It's that nice. I've made it more accurately this time. Needs a couple of weeks steeping to get the best though
Didn't have any more Strawberry Ripe (I used it all on a huge batch of this recipe), so I tried it with TPA Dragonfruit, and it's also pretty good. Not as good as this, but quite nice!
I bought all the flavorings from the top 8 recipes here on ELR as a kick start to DIY and I have to say - after leaving this to steep for about a week or slightly longer- it's the best one from ELR I've mixed up!! Smelled/vapes decent when first mixed but it became soooo well balanced and delicious after a steep. I think this will be my new ADV that'll tie me down so I can experiment with the flavorings I have and be able to let hem steep. Prior to trying this steeped I was SnV'ing everything since I was looking for an ADV. Thos should keep me happy for quite some time. Thank you for this delicious, creamy and perfectly balanced recipe!!! 5 stars from me👍🏻
After 2 weeks steeping its not bad, but still tastes very cakey and I don't get much of a strawberry flavour even at those high percentages. Do enjoy it in the Nautilus, a bit too cakey for sub ohming for my taste though. Will let it steep a bit longer and hope for the best.
I've even played around with the strawberry, adding tpa strawberry, changing percentages and so on, to no avail. Going to try again reducing the cheesecake and possibly the custard. I do like the recipe overall, but as I said, a bit too cakey for my taste.
Okay I just looked at my recipe and this is what I used....
My Nictone is 100%PG 100MG @ a 3 0.9ml
VG 21.3ml only no PG
DX Bavarian Cream TFA 4% 1.2ml
Cheesecake Graham Crust TFA 5% 1.5ml
Ripe Strawberry TFA 10% 3ml
DX Sweet Cream TFA 4% 1.2ml
Vanilla Custard TFA 3% 0.9ml
I got the DX flavoring because it says that it is a (diketone Acetoin, Acetyl Propionyl free version....)
I hate to say this since it was my favorite of all the highest rated recipes on the first page but after 2 weeks the flavors muted a LOT. Bummed since I made 120 because I loved my 30 ml sample so much. Now that I look at te flavorings I realize it's the straw ripe that's wel known to mute and not steep well. I'm gonna make this with a combo of sb ripe and another sb like maybe FA, cap or even reg TFA straw. Good thing is at this point all I have to do is add enough sb to taste to my remaining 120 ml and I should be fine. Just FYI, this doesn't steep so great due to the sb ripe being the only sb used her. You'd be better off with a combo of at least 2 sb's to combat the muting. IMHO of course
@4ringsoffury I made this with 5% ripe and 5% strawberry both TFA and I am letting it breathe at the moment before I do a test on it but am hoping this helps the muting of the strawberry after it has steeped for a few weeks.
@Bobby Turkalino Ya my next batch I'll either do a mix of TFA sb', sb ripe TFA and sweet sb cap or a combo of INW Shisha sb (become my favorite sb to date) and maybe ripe or sweet sb. Either way it's a great recipe...possibly the best sb and cream I've had and I know the ultimate sb and cream is hugely debatable and subjective but this juice (along with fresh' sb milkshake is what helped me stop buying my premium ADV juice (that juice was Boosted btw which t me was king of sb and creams - albeit it was marketed as sb milkshake).
Anyhow, thanks for the recommendation. I'll report back when I do experiment. Cheers.

Made this today and it's awesome I tweaked it takes make 60vg/40vg but still awesome my question is do you think banana would also work instead of the strawberry to make banana milk?
Very good recipe. I made this in a 70/30. I didn't have the custard so I used sweet cream instead and also added 1% brown sugar. It sat for three days started vaping it today and I am out after 3 hours. The guy at work kept steeling my vape cause he liked it so much and he doesn't even vape. I can't imagine how it would taste after a week steeping. Thanks for the recipe.
Замешал эту хуйню. Мамкиного молока тут точно нет. Но есть бабкины труханы. А еще эта арома очень напомнила мне поездку к любимым друзьям. Коле и Але. Запах электрички из 10. Спасибо за проебанные аромы!
Wow, when I first made this flavor, i was really just using this site to help me with the different %'s of flavor / nicotine / PG / VG. Had no clue it would be so popular! Thanks everyone!
It's unusual but this recipe, only this one out of all the ones I've made, seems to tone down the headaches I get, they started years before vaping so its not the vaping. Could be the high PG in this, should give it a test with others i think.
I've noticed this recipe has several different flavor profiles as it ages and have found the sweetspot to be about 4 weeks+. Right away it's a bit of a jumble, then it gets really funny between 1-3 weeks. Almost sickly sweet in a weird way. Right around 4 weeks (maybe a little less) for me is when it really comes together. And it REALLY comes together. It's one of my fav recipes and I pretty much always have 120 ml steeping.
Very nice recipe! Well done! I would note that I find this is great for shake and vape, even though creams and custard bases usually need steeping time. After just 3 days, 4 hours open cap, and 2 45 minute hot water bath sessions, the strawberry is almost completely background. I imagine it will only get more mild for the berry. Any thoughts?
Made about 90ml of this so far. It's a really good Strawberries and Custard/Cream mix. Steeped about a week or more it's delicious. Has a great creamy tone.
ok so good recipe, it pisses me off tho. i have a 16oz of strawberry ripe and have experimented many times at many different percentages with it and everytime it is extremely harsh. why the hell is it not harsh in this recipe? its blowing my mind. its my favorite strawberry flavor so its extremely infuriating.
Hey folks - what is the ideal steep time for this please? I made it up 5 days ago and, whilst it's vapable, it's incredibly muted and not particularly enjoyable...
Mine was great right away, I found the strawberry ripe flavour strong for the first couple days now it's milder but still yummy. The longer you steep it the weaker the strawberry will get because of the creams getting stronger with steeping
This is one of my all time favorites. I make this as a blueberry version and love it. One of my ADVs. Quick and simple.... I agree with other commenters that the main flavor tends to weeken after a few days but still very good.
Hy apwroblewski,i mixed up some tester and let it steep for 10 days..it was soooo goood recipe!! i make 50:50 combination between strawberry regular (TFA) and Strawberry Ripe (TFA) it really boosted the strawberry flavor! thanks man!!
Just mixed this up. Replaced vanilla custard tpa with vanilla custard v1 cap at the same percent and its already a decent shake n vape. At the moment i recommend aging but if you dont wanna wait it is for sure vapable. Will let it sit for a few days and come back and update.
Atm i get vanilla on inhale and strawberry on exhale with a vanilla creamy after taste. Im a beginner so i say dont trust my buds too much :P
Thanks apwroblewski!
Outstanding! Made this with 100&VG premixed base instead of PG and Nicotine. Fabulous just shaked and vaped. When I can afford, will make with Natures Flavours rather than TPA, which I'm sure will be even better. Interestingly, after a days steep, the juice has gone a lovely clear orange color. For those deliberating, this tastes like a creamy, strawberry, custard milkshake. It's DELICIOUS. :-)
I made one 30 ml bottle of this and it turned out really odd, almost taste like it has alcohol in it or something, pretty much unvapeable, ive tried it weekly since making it, its steeped now for about a month and a half in a dark cool cabinet. My nic is good, my flavors arent old, the only thing i could think of that may have effected it is i made it at max VG, so like 73.4% VG. Anyone have a similar experience?
This recipe is ADV i have tried Cuttwood unicorn milk and this one blows that one away this one belongs in the DIY E-juice recipe of hall of fame.
Great Job apwroblewski,
SemehCena you can try but it wont be ass good because strawberry ripe is very important for this recipe "This recipe kicks some ass". In my flavor arsenal strawberry ripe is one of the largest bottles of all my flavors i have. Would be happy to send you some at no charge.
Back here to update. Check my post above. Lazy to rewrite what i did..
After 13 days of aging this juice, the strawberry is almost non-exsistant. I recommend trying to switch up the strawberry flavor. Maybe mix strawberry flavors like cap sweet srawberry and tfa strawberry. Ill try that soon. Im getting somewhat of a dry/flat feeling/taste when vaping this also. The smell of this juice almost takes me to heaven tbh but too bad it doent taste like it smells.
*i used cap vc v1 at 3%*
This is my first try at mixing my own juice but can't find tpa Bavarian Cream can I use flavor west and don't have any tpa Vanilla Custard can I use Capella
Made this last night. Had to use Capella Vanilla Custard. It's very good! Bet it gets better with some steep time, but I can't seem to leave it alone. Thanks for sharing this!
I'm hooked. I mixed up a 30 ml bottle 3 weeks ago, cracked it open last week, and it was gone in three days. This time I mixed up 60ml of just the base flavor, hopefully I won't have to mix up another batch from scratch anytime soon.
My first DIY e-juice and I'm so happy with it, had to try it right away and made an extra 60ml to let it steep. After one evening my first 10ml is gone...excellent recipe for a novice like me and it encourages me to try out more recipes. Thank you Apwroblewski ..thumbs up.
Final update: so i re-mixed this again on 5/2/16 because i gave my small 10ml to a friend. Same as last time i used CAP Vanilla Custard V1 @ 3% to replace tfa vanilla custard and it has come together very nicely. Great sweet vanilla cream vape. Very thick on the palette. Im not picking up much strawberry ripe at all. I still stand on switching strawberries or throwing in another strawberry to have the strawberry flavor stay strong.
Overall nice vape! Definately worth mixing this up!
Thanks Apwroblewski!
After a 10 day steep this stuff is amazing! The first week or so the flavours are a bit meddled, but it really comes together after that - rich creamy inhale and buttery biscuit exhale.
My one gripe is that it completely loses it's strawberry/sweet note (if it was ever there to begin with), so I made up a new batch where I dropped the strawberry 2 % and replaced it with 2% raspberry. Also dropped CGC 1% and added 1% marshmallow to add a little more sweetness. Added 1% koolada too because I love a cool vape.
5 days ago I made 52 ml of flavor base. Followed this recipe to the letter. I have been mixing with 48 mg/ml 50/50 nicotine juice and VG and PG because I connot help myself, this is my first DIY mix.
Here are my notes so far:
Stengh: PG/VG Notes
12 mg/ml 50/50: spot on. Sweet and smooth. A tad too sweet.
18 mg/ml 40/60 too harsh
18 mg/ml 50/50 still too harsh
15 mg/ml 50/50 less harsh, vapable, but flavor loss.
13 mg/ml 50/50 spot on. max nicotine level found.
lowering the nicotine level can only improve this juice. I don't think the VG/VG ratio has a great influence.
Steeping plan:
Flavor mix: 30 min open open bottle venting then 1 week steep with a daily shake.
Final mix: Add nicotine VG and PG and steep another 3 days with a daily shake.
Mixed method: Syringes.

I think I have everything except cheesecake graham cracker. Think graham cracker (fa) could be used in its place?
Hi Chad, yes you can use graham cracker, I used it also (by mistake) and it turned out great. Made 3 x 30ml, and already burned 60ml of it in the past few days, just cant let it steep like it should :-)
Made a new 3 x 30ml today like it should be made, and another 3 x 30ml with graham cracker (FA) ..just in case...
Very nice, made a 5ml tester bottle last night and after I had smoked that I ordered 100ml bottles of each ingredient. I could only get Capella Bavarian Cream and Capella Custard so any recommendations on percentage adjustments would be appreciated.
Thanks
I'm sure this has been asked and probably answered already but there is a lot of comments on this juice. I've only been vaping for a month now, I jumped into it with both feet was a pack and a half menthol smoker prior to the change. After I went to vaping I haven't had a cigarette since. I enjoy the variety u can get and the customization there is in vaping. So I bought an RTA the first week I started, bought the griffin 25 which I must say I love. I use the SMOK r80tc mod at 56watts. Anyways enough about me I ordered these flavors yesterday and the excitement is unreal lol, but I don't enjoy pg it's not that I can't vape it I just don't enjoy the throat hit. With that being said this recipe sounds delicious but I was wondering if I should change the ratios at all for a max vg, or jus increase steep time? My flavorings are all pg and I mix at 6mg nic 100%vg. So with the flavoring in this recipe I would be aiming for a 26/74 pg/vg. Any suggestions would be amazing thank you.
In my opinion your ratio 26/74 will be fine. It wont be a problem. The thing is higher vg i think requires a longer steep and also less flavor. But i wouldnt worry about it. Im nowhere near being a pro mixer so you could wait for another reaponse.
Just so you know it took 3 weeks of steeping for me to really enjoy this juice. I mixed it at 30/70 pg/vg.
@HydroCrisp thank you for the input. I'm really new to diy as well less flavoring for higher vg hmm I jus figured since pg is a flavor carrier that the high vg would require more. Have you tried quick steeping? Like I said I'm a major newbie but I tried crock pot method on a watermelon chill recipe which is the only thing I've ever mixed and the flavor didn't seem to change at all so idk, lol. But thank you non the less.
Sorry i must of confused you. I mean higher vg has less flavor when you vape it which means you might need more flavoring. Yes, you are right about the PG being a flavor carrier.
In this case i didnt change any flavor %'s and it still tasted great. So i say give it a shot at your preferred vg/pg ratio and dont change any flavor %'s.
I hear speed steeping is a myth. Best thing for ejuice is time and a dark cool place. I forget exactly, but basically at a certain temperature certain chemicals are affected in a negative way in the ejuice. As you can see i did great in chemistry class haha! Hope this helped!
@HydroCrisp @Bignoogz The main chemical that breaks down when "speed" steeping, or heating the juice is the Nicotine. Which in turn can give you that harsh taste. Like HydroCrisp said the more VG the more flavor you need at a longer steep. I've made this recipe at Max VG, 70/30, and 60/40. I do prefer it at Max VG, on an 8 day steep. I couldn't finish my 60/40 bottle because it was just too overpowering of a flavor.
With that said, it is a good recipe you just need to find the proper balance for you.
@EdgeKrusher187 thank you for the info..and yes I agree I believe the big problem I'm having right now is no peppermint and using spearmint in its place...I'll have to get peppermint and keep playing around with it.
I have used this recipe for at least a 250mls production with different modifications due to the fact that the strawberry ripe mutes quickly. Here is what I have found. 1) The base of this recipe without the strawberry provides a very decent template for a milk/cheesecake/custard (reduce cheesecake graham crust for milk and increase custard and reduce crust for custard). 2) Adding 5-10% oatmeal cookie instead of strawberry makes for a sugary cereal that is really nice to vape. 3) MOST IMPORTANT FOR THIS RECIPE - steeping all the ingredients without the strawberry until the creamy custard develops (maybe 8-14 days with 70VG or more and 5-10 days with 50VG) and THEN adding the strawberry gives an awesome flavour. I call this method "Layering". At times, I add drops of strawberry to the custard base directly into my tank. This is amazing to me.
Lots of people have suggested switching the ripe strawberry for another, sure that should work. But I really like the RIPE. So layering works. @EdgeKrusher187 add it to the tank if you make more than 30 ml of base (flavour minus Ripe) so that you don't have a lot of muted juice left over. With a 30 ml bottle or less, the strawberry will hold until you finish it. Well that's at my consumption rate at least.
can anyone help? i let this steep for 2 days so far and I'm getting a kinda spicy taste off the bat. is it because more steeping? i gave it a small water bath let it breathe for 10 hours then its been in the dark steeping with the lid on
@juicylove69 I've yet to mix this myself still waiting for the arrival of flavors but reading through most the comments...a lot of ppl are suggesting at least 1 week steep maybe try letting it steep Lil longer. And I'm no expert by any means but if the aroma coming out of the bottle smells anything like the spice u taste maybe give it another few hrs without the cap.
thanks for the input I'm going to make another while thats steeping and try a bit longer breathing and see which is better i just smelled my flavors and I'm pretty sure its the sweet cream coming through very heavy so unless i mixed wrong which o don't think i did it may just need more time like you said to steep. I'm sure it does. but that sweet cream definitely will cut through the mix if anyone tries taste testing this before hand. i was just trying to see if it was good. I'm sure it will be. thanks again
You gotta let it steep for a couple of weeks. It was bad and stuttery when I vaped after a shake. When it goes yellow, then you know it's time to vape.
I made 120 ml of this with TPA vanilla bean ice cream instead of vanilla custard and it was AMAZE BALLS. I lowered the cheesecake to 3% (don't personally like a strong cheesecake flavor.) YUMMMMY!!
Finally got to mix this. Kept the flavor % the same but made it max vg. I haven't been able to test the steep yet but the shake and vape is rather nice. I mixed 30ml and gave 2 hot water baths while mixing other recipes and replacing coil/wick on my griffin 25. The cheesecake flavor is dominant strawberry is very very mute. But overall very pleasurable, and so much I mixed a 120ml batch to test various steep lengths. I mixed the 120 batch without the strawberry I plan to layer it by the 30ml of the cheesecake base. I will post more info as it comes available very nice recipe all around.
Guyz can i use TFA Vanilla Swirl instead of Vanilla custard..Also can u guyz please recommend me an alternative to custard as i dun wanna experiment with flavours containing acetoin.
Has anyone tried this with another fruit/berry flavour? I just cannot taste strawberry ripe no matter how much/little I use. Maybe a raspberry or bilberry
Because all I'm getting is just cream and cheesecake, though nice, it just feels very one dimensional and as if it's missing something. Like it's just the base flavour and nothing else
Haven't had time to make the batch yet but I did see people in the comments discussing the effects of speed steeping. I do it myself but figured I'd research some more. Found 2 interesting articles!
honestly this is an ok recipe. but its too buttery. down each of the cream percenteges by 1 and the ripe to 8% then add fw strawberry at 6 percent. water bath and 2 week steep. the best S/C iv ever tasted in my life
I might try that Jam, as I agree this recipe is a bit too rich. I do have FA strawberry - does it hold its flavour better than SR? I genuinely cannot taste sweet strawberry or strawberry ripe no matter how much I use. Although, I can taste strawberry no problem in commercial juices.
Ok, so I made it using Capella concentrates instead (where possible).
I ended up doubling the amount of custard in it as CAP V2 is so much weaker.
For the first week, it tasted like ice cream. Really fluffy and sweet with no custard or strawberry notes. Boring and meh.
After a week of steeping, it tastes great! This definitely isn't a shake n vape with CAP concentrates.
So yeah, 8% CAP VC V2 is the ratio I think I went for, maybe 10%. I'll make another batch and tweek it slightly for anyone that's interested.
Steeped all ingredients for 2 weeks, but added Nic and Straw Ripe 4 days prior to testing. This recipe just tastes like a sweet cheesecake. Cheese everywhere! Why add all these other flavorings? Just go 8% Cheesecake and 2% Sucralose. I'll update my review if this tastes better after further steeping. May the Cheese be with you!
Had really high hopes for this recipe due to the reviews. Personally I think the creamyness is perfect for what I want however the strawberry is just lacking so much. I've had various other people try it without telling them its a DIY mix and they have replied with 'It tastes like a cakey kind of mix'. Going to stick at it though and try adding half the % of the creams, if that fails then I will buy some inawera strawberry and throw that in. Before ordering all the extra concentrates that I needed, I did try this with just the strawberry, bav cream and van custard and it was a really nice vape and the strawberry came through ok after a few days.
Not bad!... I hate cuttwoods unicorn milk and never wanted to make this.. I was bored and made 10 mil and its not bad at all. I'd give it 4 stars (I used Capellas sweet cream)
Finally made this recipe and works great, taste great. Would recommend to a fellow Vaper.
Followed recipe, steeped 4 weeks, shaking twice weekly. Been vaping for a week and will keep this recipe in my monthly mixing routine.
Great job on flavor, thanks for posting.
I have to agree on the cream front, 8% cream in any recipe is insanity for so many reasons, 4% is more than enough in any recipe period, so take the ripe down to 6%, drop the custard, drop either the sweet dream or the Bavarian and you have a decent recipe, I would make two batches, one with sweet dream and one with Bavarian and see how they compaire, personally I would use 4% ripe and 4% TPA strawberry, and you could keep the custard if u like but my preference in this would be to take it out, anything over 20% flavour will probably start to mute flavours to be honest, well it will lol
Either my flavorings are bad, I'm crazy, or everyone else is nuts. This recipe still tastes like 2 spoons of sugar dissolved in hot melted cheese. After 4 weeks steep now, I have no hope that it will get any better.
@Captain_Vapor I made a batch of what u suggested went with 5% of both tpa strawberry ripe and strawberry, 4% sweet cream and cheesecake graham cracker crust, and 2% vanilla custard. I also made a batch of same % jus bavarian cream instead of sweet cream. The sweet cream mix is very pleasurable shake and vape the strawberry is actually there and nothing is pure over powering. I haven't tried the bavarian cream one yet but I'm sure it's similar
I jus now tried the bavarian cream version and to me it's too over powering the strawberry isn't there. I'll give both a few weeks to steep and try them again.
@sublimesed need to know a bit more bout ur materials. R u using exactly what he has here on the recipe? For instance ur nicotine the mg and % of that base if ur using pg flavors etcetera.
@Bignoogz I have 36mg Nic (100% PG) and I am using the same ingredients, except I'm using the DX versions of Bavarian Cream and Sweet Cream & CAP Vanilla Custard v2. Thanks!
Bignoogz, sweet cream is lighter than Bavarian and that's why you will get the results you did, but after a steep the Bavarian should even out, Bavarian is more custard like and a much thicker cream, sweet cream would definatly be my choice for a strawberry mix, Bavarian cream I tend to use for peanut butter mixes or coffee or even custard, I do use it in fruit also but normally a more potent fruit like dragon fruit or pineapple, works good in apple pies to especially with Fuji FA, strawberry is one of the milder fruits when it comes to e juice so I tend to use a lighter cream, or if I'm using custard I tend to use around 6% Capella custard max other wise it drowns out the strawberry, I am working with some new strawberrys myself and one of them is potent, it's INW shisha strawberry, it's steeping as I type so looking forward to that
@leej I made both with one or the other and the sweet cream is really enjoyable shake and vape and as Captain vapor stated the bavarian is over powering without the steep.
@leej I made both with one or the other and the sweet cream is really enjoyable shake and vape and as Captain vapor stated the bavarian is over powering without the steep.
I might make a mix of both aswell. Did u use the same % for the sweet cream as the Bavarian cream. Also what percent do u think I should drop it to for the cap version of Bavarian cream
I've been working on making a Diketone-free version using mostly Capella flavours and this recipe seems to work for me:
CAP Bavarian Cream - 3%
CAP Sweet Cream - 3%
CAP NY Cheesecake V2 - 4%
TPA Strawberry (Ripe) - 6%
CAP Vanilla Custard v2 - 10%
VG - Whatever's left (All mine are MAX VG)
After a week or two steeping, seems very smooth and creamy with the strawberry just peeking through. You may want to add your strawberry later in the steeping process or maybe up the VCv2 as it's not crushingly-custardy but it's all about experimenting :)
I mixed this up last week and had a try after one week steep and it's good but I find the the strawberry is weak. The creams over power it a little. Gonna mix another batch and drop the strawberry ripe to 5% and add different strawberry at 5%. Let you know what happens
This was my first time mixing concentrates and couldnt belive how amazing this tasted as a shake and vape mix. I will make another batch and let it steep. Thanks for sharing this recepie!
if i change this recipe to 70/30 with no nicotine do i still keep all the flavour percentages the same ? so it will be 26% flavouring ? also any opinions on if it will change the tatste ?
some of you seem very adept at this stuff, So, I have a Q. What is your opinion on quick steeping methods, and on using one of those little milk frothers to mix ejuice, I've never had patience for steeping too long. I think I've nuked it also, to get it to mix faster and whip air into it, I know it's Heresy and probably against some vapereligions moral code, but there it is. I would like and enjoy any creative criticism, maybe even a few nasty critiques just to get me in line. all in the name of diy learning. Thanks guys
@novaln I haven't tried speed steeping much first of all but this is what I've gathered from what I have tried. I have tried crockpot steeping, water bath, and microwave. The crock and Water bath are extremely similar and I've noticed doing it allows the liquid to become very thin which helps mix it, but flavor wise I've never noticed a huge difference. The microwave did the same but much faster. The crockpot is by far the slowest it's like 2hrs for each week of steep time. The water bath is the medium efficient one long cool down stages but requires more baths. The microwave is short heat times hard shake then cooling. The microwave u see results faster in my opinion I believe all work in their own way no expert tho by any means.
guys, only thing you need to do for success , let it steep for a month . then you will see how is it . first 2 weeks was strange. 3.week was acceptable but still not best. now i am vaping 1month old juice.and thats it !
(steep method is really cool and dark place, daily shake. no heating , no extra . just time... )
(and when you prepare recipe ,dont forget to shake well each of your flavours,vg,pg,nicotine before use.this is one of the key point that may cause bad result if you forget it)
I have made 3 versions of this..the one posted and 2 with these variations
on both I added .75% pink lemonade to make the strawberry shine.. the Strawberry is just bursting!! That puts the voting down to 2!!!
One was made with Cheesecake (Graham Crust) and the other
One was made with 3.5% Caps NY cheesecake and 1.5% FW Graham Cracker. As of now 3 weeks in. The pink Lemonade is really keeping the strawberry on top. and the creams all around it.... I'll do A final side by side in the upcoming week and announce a "winner" lmao. and my take on the Graham cracker thing..there will be a panal of 3 judges using various tanks and drippers...ok..im having way too much fun now... Cheers...Vape on
Verdict is in...075% pink lemonade and that's it. Tasting too much Graham Cracker. It's gotta go.. so..let's try without the graham cracker and mess wit the creams and Strawberries a bit..lol. It's a great recipe
Tasty recipe mang. While it is possible to shake n vape this, a few days for the aromas to marry is definitely recommended. The strawberry diminishes a bit after 2-3 weeks but that seems to be a "feature" of strawripe.
D.M. If you read my post..a little bit of citrus will stop that mellowing of the strawberry Ripe. . I have used pink lemonade..but in the past dragonfruit has worked well.. I haven't tried anything other than those 2.. but it really does work.. I made the recipe and 3 other minor variations.. the pink lemonade at 75%.. worked wonders
Cheers man, I'll have to give that a try. If I'm honest, no I hadn't read all the posts on this ejuice ;-)
You say citrus does the trick, have you tried it with just straight up citric acid (i.e. lemon or lime juice)?
D.M. I haven't tried that..but I'm guessing its the citric acid thats keeping the the strawberry shining tbrough..separating the fruits from the creams. I cant taste any pink lemonade. .but it's a week flavor anyway..kinda why I picked it. I guess the trick is to use something that won't show up but help the other flavors. Cheers
Kyle...I'm pretty sure it would take on a more of a custard taste. It's not going to ruin it.. it's sounds like a good idea..I might make a batch up without it as well.. Sweet cream..isn't really that sweet. And the flavor % on this recipe is really high.
Storm Crow thanks that is exactly what i thought. I also dropped the strawberry ripe down and bumbed the custard up slightly as i want more of a custard flavour
Leej As I was saying earlier.. prob any citrus will do.. I just don't know how strong citrus ipunch is.. if it really stands out on your mixes at a low level..or if it's weak...and your always adding more to get the taste you want....I found 75 worked great.. check the notes on pink lemonade and citrus punch and make an informed guess.... it takes me forever to come up with a recipe..as I'm always reading the notes and altering the numbers before I start mixing . I'm just a bit if a perfectionist... kinda why I love DIY..cheers
Just done this ejuice and I couldn't rate it less than 5 stars. Done 3 batches of 30ml which one I am already vaping. I will test the others next week to see any difference in flavour. Many thanks and please keep it up the good work!
My first attempt at DIY in prep for TPD in the UK... I'll be back in two weeks once steeped! Thanks for the recipe, and also the comments throughout for mixing 70/30.
Storm Crow.. i put 2 drops of citrus punch in to my 30ml mix and seems to have muted the taste and dosent feel like a heavy vape as it did without it. maybe has something to do with using tpa bev cream rather then cap that i used in my last mix. just feels like a empty vape if you know what i mean
I do .. pink lemonade has a tart taste . Maybe it not the citrus.. but the sour... I would still give it 4 weeks for things to come together...I have tried speed steeping..Crick pot..thermos. .blender..nothing beats mother nature...
Thing is when I made it without the citrus punch and cap bev cream the mix was amazing after 3 days turned a nice dark colour. This next one I Made after 7 days it's clear clear. Do you think cap flavours steel quicker then tpa
Wow. .I have a recipe with cap and tfa stuff that turned and stayed yellow..but didn't turn the gold color I was expecting.. I had a touch sour in that..it was a strawberry milkshake recipe... Let's just say.. I made 120ml bottle of it yesterday. I was really not expecting an ADV...lol
Thought I'd see what all the hype was about and give this mix a try. Did two batches, one as above, and one with exactly the same ratios, but at 75%. (19.5% flavour total). Both are absolutely delicious after a two week steep, but the slightly toned down mix is nicer to my pallette. Top marks to @apwroblewski for making a great flavour. Thanks for sharing!
This stuff is great! Mixed it exactly as described. Didn't touch it for a month. It's first strawberry mix I've made where I can actually taste the strawberry. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Just tried this recipe at a 70vg/30pg. It is good straight away but a lot of graham taste and some milky tones, not much strawberry at all. I will try this again and lower the creams and graham and up the strawberry and custard percentages. That should give it a great out of the bottle taste. Flavor was a little weak straight away, hope it improves with steeping. If not i will try upping the percentages after adjusting all around by about 3-4%.
It really is a great recipe...but it really truely needs steeping for 4 weeks. And adding Dragonfruit at a low % helps bring up the strawberries. .. I think I may have posted a slightly revised version of Fresh03 Strawberry Milkshake... it's a great strawberry vape as well. I made 120ml of that one. ..this one didn't quite make the big bottle shelf. Cheers.
Excellent recipe, flavor wise its somewhat funky but it really comes together after 2 weeks and reach its true flavor after 4 weeks. I made 500ml so far. It's dangerously good.
@apwroblewski, @all I just made me a test batch of Strawberry Fog! ( e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/226322/strawberry+fog ). Is nearly the same like your Mother's Unicorn Milk ! Here is only 4% Sweet Cream and a little more Bavarian Cream. Make the Sweet Cream tis 2 Recipes so diffrent? Can you explain me the diffrent?
I made this max VG and the cookie was mostly the only thing that came through .... have to try this at the recommended ratio as so many people seem to enjoy the hell out of this.
I tried this with 4 to 1 NY Cheesecake, Graham Cracker.. and the CGC. . Huge difference.. the first one..the Graham Cracker was there..and way too prominent.. the second one with CGC, The Graham Cracker was more of a background note.. Everyone is different...I can see Graham Cracker being the top note for some....It's not just Straw ripe that mutes with time..they all do.. it's part of being a strawberry flavor.. I back mine with dragonfruit...just a hint..or sour.. helps keep the strawberry from fading.. I'm thinking about a touch of Raspberry. I think that gets used alot too...I'm liking Raspberry more than Strawberry... it's easier to work with...lol
Third day into the steep this stuff is to die for. Thank you thank you thank you. I like it so much I replaced the Strawberry with LA Melon... that's working out ok too I must say!
Hey guys , everytime i make this juice i have no flavour.
I made this several times and everytime taste the same.
Tested on aromamizer rdta ,ud bellus , gemini.
WTF , anyone can help ?
@Tom - did you make it exactly as posted i.e. same brands, exact percentages and no additives such as Ethyl Maltol? Did you shake & steep or just shake & vape?
Strawberry Shisha would probably be really nice In this..I'm sure it's been talked about somewhere up above.. @DarthVapor. .your French Smurf recipie is amazing. .. With killer recipies like that I'll have my wife off analogs very soon!!
This is good really enjoying it, thanks. The longer it steeps the better it gets. But I had to cut the % down to the equivalent of 17%, 26% just sounds too high.
Wow, great Vape!! After failing massively with my own homemade 'brew' I left it a good few months. Tried this recipe, and glad i'm back to making my own!! Many thanks
I recently made a 600ml batch. After shake and vape I dont't find the sweet spot. Only throat hit is. Are steeping for few days will change the taste? Currently there is no sweetness at all .
This is a pretty bullet proof recipe. I was out of vanilla custard so I subbed in 2% Vanila bean Ice cream and 1%cake batter. really good, but in hindsight I would have nixed the cake batter.
This is looking real good, although I doubt it's nailed the MM. But it can be delicious anyway, and might even better than the hyped MM. But personally I don`t like recipes with over 20% flavors. Back in early 2014 we where learned never to trespass 20 %,and just think about the improvement in tanks and drippers flavorwise since then! I like to stay in the 12-15% range. If I try this, I will go down to 5% at the Strawberry Ripe as a start. Do you steep your stuff or shake and vape?f? Often less is more when properly steeped. I need to get a hold on Cheesecake (Graham Crust), Sweet cream and Vanilla Custard . I have all three of them in CAP, but that could change the recipe into a hole different thing. Unfortunately I'm on tight budget .I will come back and give you my thoughts after I taste it (Mike apes quote:) if I make it.
Made this this morning. Put it in hot water for awhile and let it breath. Tried it tonight and it's already amazing. I know it'll get better over time too.
not sure why 26% total flavor. i use a Cleito tank with a .4 ohm aspire atomizer. after 1 week steep it is mellow smooth and delicious. i basically cut everything in half and added some strawberry (tfa). total flavor mix 16%. i did no make it at 26% so i cannot compare.
@MarkieMark - I get exactly what you mean. tried it at recommended flavor and damn! that stuff is like a flowerpott. You can barely taste in what kind of direction it should be going. Wanted to throw it away, instead just put in the double amount of base and within 2 days it came out so good.
Also I think the sweet cream should be dropped to 1% max. It is giving a very floral taste to this mix.
TPA Strawberry need to be substituted with Capella or LA. TPA strawberry taste good but smell is gone after steeping and it is big lack when strawberry is main ingredient.
@MarkieMark - Can you share what you did then? You said basically in half but went from 26% to 16% which isn't half. Or put your own up so we can try it.
Ok, I had to finally mix this up and see what all the hype is about. Damn! No hype. Mixed, shook, vaped, and fell in love! Winner winner chicken dinner.
Bitchin' you can use another strawberry if you like. I have made a ton this recipe so far. I am currently using both CAP Strawberry at 2% and TPA Strawberry Ripe at 3%. Getting the strawberry to pop in this recipe is the issue. Also -This many flavors needs time to come together. For steeping - soak in warm, but not hot water for about 30 minutes...shake like hell, leave the top off overnight, shake like hell, then sit for a minimum 10 days, shaking daily. Then you are ready. It will continue to mature for another week, but I can not keep my hands off that long!!
I tried this recipe back in May and followed the recipe with my only sub being Vanilla Custard v2 (Cap) and 70/30 vg/pg. The wife and I both loved it so I made a 250mL and forgot all about it until last weekend and it is by far the best recipe I've made to date! I can't get enough! So I decided to buy the Vanilla Custard (TPA) and promptly made a 50mL to enjoy now and 250mL to steep. I'll report back in 4 months time!!
@apwroblewski Thank you so much for this recipe. My hat has been tipped, Sir!
I made the recipe as written. I steeped it for nine days. Truly a phenomenal juice. I will be making this in great quantity. It is full, creamy, and utterly addictive. There is only a hint of the Strawberry Ripe, but I can't imagine it getting much better than this! Great job!
Just made a 10ml batch of 60/40 blend 6mg, had to substitute Vanilla Swirl (TPA) for Vanilla Custard, but this stuff is still awesome right after shaking. Going to let it steep for a while, no doubt it'll get better.
With high hopes I made the exact recipe except the final PG/VG ratio which is 30/70 by me. I used a hot plated magnetic stirrer at 120F (50C) for 12 hours as I do as my basic routine with my other diy juices. Unfortunately the Ripe Strawberry has been dissapeared and I cannot taste it in the liquid. I use the Ripe SB in other recipes in smaller quantities as well, but never recognized such an absence after stirring. Without the Strawberry Ripe the custard base mix tastes artificial. I guess the Bavarian Cream overpowers the other ingredients.
I'll wait with my final decision a few weeks but for now this recipe seems to be dissapointing.
Thanks for your reply Bek! As I emphasized, I'll wait a few weeks with my final decision.
I just cant imagine, how can my tastebuds feel so different than others who says it's a brilliant shake and vape.
I mixed this a couple days ago, and it was very good when I tried it. I made a small sampler batch, but I will definitely be making some more. I didn't have any Ripe Strawberry, I used Organic Strawberry instead, but it still tastes good to me. Not quite a strong strawberry flavor, but I definitely like it.
Thanks for the recipe!
So i have made this recipe many times now, not changing the percentages, but at various nic levels. Usually 10mg. All have been great and tasty. My latest batch has a peppery tone that I cannot explain. Any ideas how this could have happened. Steep time has been 3 to 4 weeks as per normal time??
HOLY SMOKE! i mixed this morning 30ml, my 1st "complex" recipe ever.
2 hours into the UC
rested all day
just tasted a few drips now... JESUS IT'S FREAKING GOOD and it's only 1 day LOL in 1 week this will taste like heaven.
i mixed a 70/30 vg-pg with 0 nic.
just amazing, thank you so much for sharing this.
I have to admit that this recipe gets better and better as time goes by. Meanwhile I had to add 2% additional strawberry ripe as this flavor has been muted a bit. I've tried about 20 recipes from here, and it is among the bests for sure. The first batch has gone, so it's time to make a bigger one. :)
A strong 4 stars or maybe 4.5 stars for me. Well done!
hi all.. i really really need help, frustrated :D
my diy eliquid is dry when exhale, is it because 0 nicotine or i need malted milk to create the wet creamy taste in my mouth??
thx for ur help
I want to make this liquid. I got all the flavors. But I did not get the flavor of sweet caram. Is there an alternative sweet caram flavor. Please Help?
less than half hour of shaking and warming, this is already really awesome, though i used a bit less of creams and also less of strawberry, but the strawberry does pop, usually i cant taste strawberry much, but in this, wow..
used half the bavarian cream, and a toned everything else down also.
cant wait for nex week, might be pure gold, already definetely as good as some premium strawberry creams
Just made a small batch of this tonight and after 16min in a ultrasonic bath all I can say is WWWWWOOOOWWWW .. where has this been hiding at !!! now if the second bottle I made can stay hidden so it can actually steep for a few days all will be good but I did make the mistake of letting the wife taste it so might have to make a couple more bottles to hide in my glovebox or something lol .... Great recipe !
I shaked and vaped this right away, and thought it was almost disgusting... i gave it 4X 45 minute hot baths after this and tried again... wow.. almost completely different vape...
i am finding now after 3 days its perfect and i think this will be my everyday vape for the time being
I made this and the Cheesecake with Graham Cracker completely overpowers everything else, I can smell Strawberry from the liquid, but there is zero strawberry taste to the vape. The cheesecake definitely needs toned down for my tastes. Otherwise decent, can really taste the cream.
Great Recipe!
I substituted van custard with vanilla swirl, am I missing anything by doing this?
Also...after about a week I start to loose the strawberry ripe as it gets muted... Im going to try to add regular tfa strawberry at 6% ontop of 6% ripe
First off, thank you for sharing your recipe. I've never had the real McCoy, but I can say this recipe is f'n delicious. I've been churning this out for myself every week. Wouldn't change a thing...thanks again!
Hi apwroblewski, is not delicious when vaping mouth to lung by using Aspire Nautilus, could you please tell me what % of flavors i must to change to be delicious when vaping mouth to lung?
Made 2x10mls, one to steep for a few weeks and one to try right away. After they'd both had 1/2hr in a hot water bath, 0.25 Ni coil at 205 deg C and it's very nice indeed. Not overpowering, well balanced and lovely creamy tail off. Thanks :)
New to DIY and mixed 200ml of this so that one bottle can steep propperly. Just tried some out as shake and vape and i love it. I can only assume steeping will make it better. Thanks for a great recepie.
I mixed 2 batches of this recipe, VG/PG 70/30 & 60/40.Both @ 3 weeks old, 70/30 ways ok but @ 60/40 I was smacking my lips, at the ripe strawberry. Thanks!
Made the exact recipe 30ml but 70/30 vg/pg 6mg of nicotine strength. I shook and vaped but it didn't blow my mind so I left it on my shelve... week later gave it another try as my adv run out.... it was surprisingly better.... left it another week to steep and now I can't stop vaping it. Thnx for the recipe very good. Adv for sure!!!
Done 30 ml just to test, i don't have Sweet cream for the moment so tried without.
Just after doing I can smell a sweet strawberry flavour but i can barely taste it. I hope it will come out with steep.
A little update, after 1 week steep this tastes even better, the strawberry tastes just wonderfull. As for steeping ive done a hotbath 40-50ish degrees for about 2h and let it breath for the same amount of time. Shaked it for 5 minutes or so once per day. Definetly my favorite vape so far. (Im rather new tough, coming up on 4 months, so only tried about 15 flavours.)
Hi
Yesterday mixed flavors .... get the smell is not like the original
In the foreground - the cream remind warmed butter
In the background biscuits (cheese cake, crackers)
On the exhale - bad disclosed strawberries
Today tried to vape - the situation has not changed
The resulting liquid is not nasty but does not go for me
All of this was?
I hope that the alternation two weeks the situation will change and I will enjoy
I've had the same experience at first time. Be patient and let it steep for an additional week. It will change a lot.
Now I use 1/3 less creams and cracker as it is described in this recipe. I like to stay under 20% with the flavourings.
mixed another batch of 1/2 volume of prescription
Added to the volume:
Strawberry + 20%, -20% Cream
The smell of a day much more interesting
Let's see what will happen after two weeks
All delicious vapor ;)
I made this n it smelled and tasted like shit. Worst recipe I'd ever made. Left it for 3months to steep n came back. Best juice I've ever made or tasted, absolute winner but gotta let it steep for months.
This is a great shake and vape. Just mixed up 15ml of it just to try as I don't like to mix big amounts and then lot like it lol and it is real good. I lowered the Bavarian cream and cheesecake Graham cracker just by 1% and its still good
I don't see how people let juice steep for no week/months at a time. If it takes that long to steep then its not good or something is wrong. I have a friend that's a pro juice mixer and he mixes his juice to order and it don't steep no more then 2/3 hours max and its the best juice I've ever had. I just wish I knew how he did it lol
There are really good shake and vape recipes, but many other especially custard or tobacco based liquids need a few days or weeks to reach their full potential.
Easy to test: put 10ml away for a few weeks and check them later. It's even better if you can test it together with a freshly mixed new batch.
@adam2343
Some flavors FOR EXAMPLE custards and creams take time to mix/settle/adapt in a recipe and that is why it takes 2 weeks to a month for the best flavor. I can definitely tell you that after steeping two weeks it taste much better and the color has changed to a clear creamy yellow. Some recipes like this you can just shake and vape but for the best flavor, just let it steep for a week or so, its all based on personal opinion. Made (2)120ml bottles and about to make 2 more.
Also just curious has anyone tried replacing strawberry for another flavor? I was thinking raspberry sweet. Should i do the same percentage?
Holy shit, I know you need to steep some recipes more than others but when I shook and vaped this one I was soo disapointed, so I did'nt vape on it for a week and all I can say is WOW! This now tops my list of e liquids and I will definitely mix up a big batch of this one.
+1 for Mizc, i was disapointed also when i tried the two first days after mixing it.
But after 8 days it's defintely going to be something good, but for me it needs some more steep to let everything come out and mix nicely
This was the first juice that I made and let it sit for about a week or two before I fully vaped it. Immediately loved it and finished it fairly quickly. Going to probably buy a bigger bottle so I can make this stuff more often.
So been diying for over a year. Seen this recipe here. Anwhile back maybe 6 months even. I bought all the supplies for a big mix up for this recipe alone was planning on makin 2000mls. I made a 30ml instead.
I made it exactly how it says but max VG as there's already 26% PG in the flavourings I try and keep it as high VG a single possible. So make the 30ml shake and vape and it's good. Really enjoyed it went to bed and it was still good that day. But after that for 5 days after I couldn't taste or the creams were fading it out as they tried to settle. I ended up giving away the 30ml to a friend. Who of course later raved about it and eventually came back months later and still had the friggin thing with 10mls left and bam so amazing. I just mixed 1000mls of it.
Bavarian cream TFA 4%
Cheese cake Graham crust TFA 5%
Strawberry ripe TFA 10%
Sweet cream TFA 4%
Vanilla custard TFA 3%
.3% super sweet cap
.4% strawberry shisha INA
Normally I don't add sweetner but this recipe needs a little help holding together I think it rounds it out with the shisha to help boost the strawberry, first impressions are amazing will report back after a week or 2 steep time
this is THE juice! I made one 30ml and after that a 100ml! It's amazingly tasty!! Ty again and again!!
btw i try my 33/67 at 2% nic juice on a cyclone rda with 2 claptons at 0.35ohms. Tasted like SIN and the vape was incredible!!
Thnx man!
After making this juice exactly as shown 10 days ago i also made a 100ml bottle with 30% less flavour at the same ratio's. My first thoughts were that this was already quite sweet with a shake and vape and i steep in my glove box of my car in the Mozambique sun so steep time is super accelerated. Also with the fact that my taste buds would improve without smoking cigarettes i thought i would need less flavour. Anyway, the 30% less flavour bottle after a week was simply perfect. All the flavours just not sickly sweet. The pefect ADV. Save on juice too.
Jdecker, I'm doing it right now, but still 2 weeks out before I'm going to try. I think I read the other day that when substituting cap, you should scale back percentages a little. My current batch is a 1:1 swap with cap, and I had togo cap graham cracker this time b/c it's all I had. Although it's not the exact recipe- it should still be tasty LIQUID GOLD!
Made more than a gallon of this so far and the only changes I have made are to use TFA strawberry ripe at %5 and TFA strawberry at %5 and added %1 TFA sweetener, it stands up better to a long steep than just using strawberry ripe. Tried it with both CAP vanilla custard v1,v2, and TFA, CAP vanilla custard v1 and v2 will give more of an eggy custard where as TFA vanilla custard is more of a buttery creamy custard. All 3 custards come out good in this recipe but I prefer the TFA. Thanks for this recipe, it is getting hard to find a good strawberry custard that doesn't bankrupt you in flavoring costs.
Great! Great! Recipe ADV for my wife, and I. I mix up about 375ml a month for us, and have been doing so for 8 months. It's all my wife vapes, and 90% of what i vape that's roughly 3,000ml's to date not including 30ml's and what not I've made for friends, and family. We can't thank you enough for this recipe! Thank you so much! from all of us.
Has anyone try to store this juice over two-three months? Because 26% flavor is very much. Back in 2014 we learned that 20% was max, and with the equipment from that time, the taste was nowhere near what you can have with today's equipment. If the juice is as good after a few months, then go for it, but I suspect it wan't held up. Most of the times, less is more. And a five months juice with the right mix around 12 to 15 % flavor....Yummy. And if you use FA or INW, 10% can be owerpowering.
This was my favorite ADV for months then my palette decided that anything strawberry was no longer acceptable. Which really is awful because I have about 200ml of it sitting in the cupboard and I can't stand it anymore.
Taste like perfume, might be good through old style tank, wouldn't recommend for sub ohm vaping just to much flavoring added. Plus no one makes 50/50 juice anymore usually 70vg30pg or 80vg20pg

Unicorn is my nr1 juice but cant vape it every single day.
And for that Check out this shake&vape too. It's super sweet and gets even better after a couple of days...
Cheers mate enjoy my adv e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1243948/Strawberry%20Milkman🎯%20%231
I made two 30 ml bottles yesterday, one 50/50 and one 70/30 VG/PG. Also used the DX Sweet Cream (couldnt get the regular sweet cream anywhere) and I bought the PG, VG and nicotine base already premixed altogether, so all I did was added the flavourants to it. I know it's only been 1 day but for some reason I can't feel the strawberry taste at all, any ideas? Yes, I did use all of the recipes that are listed except for Sweet Cream, all from TFA and I mixed at the given percentages. All I taste at the moment is a taste of some kind of desert.
@jamesfo0 and after 1 week the Strawberry should become noticeable? I know that patience is the key but I was surprised as fruit flavors usually take less to break in. How was it in your case? Thanks for the input mate!
What I did was use Strawberry and Ripe Strawberry instead of just strawberry 5% of each and it turned out great. Try lowering the Bavarian Cream or other flavors to let the strawberry come through more if that's what your looking for but this recipe is spot on like unicorn milk by cutwood but way better. (cleaner tasting)
Alright, thanks for the info. I guess I will let it sit for 2-3 weeks and see how it turns out, and if the strawberry won't be noticeable at all then I will probably do the same thing as you
It quite interesting, Ive been reading through a lot of comments on this recipe. A few people arent enjoying it because of the muted flavour they are getting. I have the same regardless of steep time. The SMELL is out of this world from right after mixing right up untill end of steep however it doesnt vape like it smells. Very bland taste for me. My collegue at works loves it and says its better than import shelf juice. I think its just different palletes.
Anyone with a similar experience or info on the reason behind this it would be great to hear.
I've had the same issue, so I tweaked it, and now this is one of my favourit juices.
Lower the creams and custards by 1/3, and add 2-3ml more strawberry/or different strawberry, and a tiny bit of sour/apple. That helped me to get the balance right again. Try this with 10-20ml first, so you won't waste too much if this is not for you.
Best after 3 weeks.
I have a huge problem with over flavoring and getting vapers tongue. I made this at 50% flavoring max VG and it's awesome. Took about 3 days(after multiple hot water baths the first couple days) to really taste like anything, but it gets better every day. This morning I realized I need more empty bottles to make at least a liter of this!
I've made this recipe 4 times now vaped every ingredient individual to check but still tastes of nothing to me. 4 friends were over tried all the batches of it over weeks of steeping and all agreed it's not nice. I don't understand all the hype.
Love this stuff but I make it 15% flavourings and 70VG. My ADV.
Simplified the recipe a bit to 3 parts strawberry ripe to 1 part the other 4 flavours. So basically buy 3 30ml bottles of strawberry ripe, 1 bottle each of the others, stick them in together and have 210ml of flavour concentrate to last me about 6 months, super quick and simple and lovely!
made this a week ago and while good at first after a few days all the flavors just died out. The strawberry is no longer noticable and the graham crust isnt even there anymore all I get is a cream :( I was so disappointed. Also, even though I use these same flavors in other recipes. In this one it made me cough quite a bit and gave me vape tongue within a few days. I am guessing the percentages are too high. I will try again with adjustments.
I make so much of this for my girlfriend. She refuses to vape anything else. I ran out of Strawberry Ripe and bought her some Cuttwood's Unicorn Milk out of desperation. She says it doesn't even compare to this. I like to mix myself up some one in awhile too. For such a high % of flavoring, everything balances out and it's just a really great tasting, not overbearing recipe. Plus it's great as a shake n' vape! Although it gets better after a few days, it's pretty damn good right away!
I mixed this as well as the "leaked" unicorn milk clone. this one was hands down the better of the two. 5 star juice that goes into rotation. If you like unicorn milk type juices, you can feel comfortable mixing a 120ml bottle right off the bat. I made a 30ml bottle to try it. Will certainly mix a larger bottle next mix session. It just amazes me how many good recipes there are here on ELR. There truly is no reason to buy "premium" juices anymore.
Far too creamy for my taste buds and don't seem to have any hint of strawberry in it, more like just taking a spoon full of cream out of a pot and eating it and I've just made a 250ml batch :/
strawberry will come out in time. i reduced all creams by 30% and strawberry by 20%. recon it works better. try adding 2% sweet strawberrry or leave in your glove box in your car for a few days!
I have been mixing this recipe for like 6 months, but now the strawberry ripe flavor is muted, not just for me but for all the people i give it to try. i belive tfa changed the flavor or something. this is something im not sure but we need to search about.
@Snorman - I wasn't really being serious. This one is pretty easy to mix. I made a 30ml tester and will likely do a 60 or 120ml next time around. I've only been mixing 2 months but managed to make about 25 recipes so I have plenty of DIY juice (over 650 mls) and a couple hundred mls of commercial juice I hadn't gotten around to vaping yet. BTW - you can mix up the strawberry a bit if you can't taste it. try 5% Ripe and 5% CAP sweet strawberry or 5% TPA strawberry (regular) or 5% of you favorite strawberry. Add in 1% raspberry and the taste will come out even more.
Already mixed my fist 100ml batch for this exact recepie, definitely not for shake and vape, all i got was strong strawberry ripe flavor which contain ethyl alcohol, yes it has to be breath... Be back about 1-2 weeks steep, see it goes, thanks @apwroblewski
This is really the best recipe ever. I cant stop vaping this stuff and i just mixed it. Cant even imagine how good its gonna be after a little steep. But for that i gonna have to mix a few extra bottles and let it steep. Because i dont think this 100ml i just mixed is gonna last very long.
Top recipe this.I have also added sweet strawberry jungle flavours and that helps a lot with the steep imo as the jungle flavours strawberry lasts a lot longer than most others and gives the taste a boost in the strawberry side of the vape 5⭐️ Thanks for sharing
This thread is getting crazy!!! OK, after making this several times, it really is too much flavoring. Knocked it all down by 30% and added strawberry (TPA). Score! The shake-n-vape was better too- can't wait for steep (which I think will be shorter than original recipe's).
Newbie mixer here. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I've just made this...but I changed it to 100% PG Nicotine 7.2mg at a 60/40 ratio and 3mg strength. I'm not getting any real flavour coming through. Should I have changed the %s for the favouring too. Or is it because I haven't steeped it.
@Fergz91 - yeah - this recipe has creams and custard in it. It will need at least two weeks of steeping (I tend to steep anything with custard in it at least a month).
Fergz. If u have used the 26% as the receipt indicates and cannot taste anything u might have vapers tongue! (Overload of taste buds). Had this before just after vaping too much after quitting smokes. I have reduced this to 18% flavour and a shake and vape is very sweet. After a few weeks if insane sweet.
thanks Geb. I'll let it steep for a couple of weeks and see how it goes :)
haha vapers tongue, brilliant Alchemists. I've just started vaping really. still going back and forth to cigs too. getting there though. Probably need to wait more for my cig tongue to change...get more tastebuds rocking lol
@Fergz - Not sure how long you have been vaping. When I first started (my two year anniversary cig free is May 31st) I smoked and vaped the first month. At that time I vaped Unicorn Milk exclusively and I could taste it. Still it is going to take some time for you to really be able to taste your juice. That clock won't start ticking in earnest until after you give up cigs altogether. No pressure - everyone quits at their own pace, but the tasting really begins probably 2 -3 months after you quit totally. I remember about 3 months after quitting I was eating chinese or indian food (it was something spicy) and it tasted incredibly hot/spicy. This is the same exact dishes I had been eating for years. The cigs dulled my tastebuds and I couldn't taste the heat. It will be interesting for you to revisit this juice in a couple of months and see if it taste stronger/better.
Just mixed this up...used Capella vanilla custard v1 and omg...im in love...and that's just shake and caped. Can't wait to see what this does after a steep
@the-vapenator The DX versions do not suck but they taste completely different than the non dx versions. The DX versions all seem to have the same slight chalky aftertaste, the aftertaste never bothered me but I like the richness the normal versions give to the juice much better.
This stuff is amazing! Added sweetener (1%), never too sweet for me. I'm new at mixing, but this is the best by far out of 5 other recipes I've mixed. I don't normally like strawberry vapes, as I only purchased cookie mixes...but times have changed. Thank you sooo much for posting.
@apwroblewski I made up 90 mils just on the reviews alone. And I may add, after a nice 12 day steep, delish. Strawberry fades fast but a trained pallet (wife) can taste it. Much obliged. A nice THICK dense vape, with an A1 aftertaste. BRAVO. Ps... Now, how the fuck did you do that?? lol
I dont agree with the reviews on most of the top recipes but this one really deserves all the credit, well done, and You did it by accident aswell lol class
I've made it max vg as this recipe is. It's fine. Just takes a tad longer to steep usually. (Depending on process used) I just shake it good and let it sit.
I love my custard vapes but thought I'd try something different. I can't believe I've only just discovered this recipe because it's awesome. I'll be making lots more of this , thanks for sharing 😀
Made this 1:1 as the recipe. After 2 weeks tried it - it just tastes like perfume or something. Smells godly, but tastes bad.. I'll steep a bit more I guess before I try this again..
@CodilX I hate perfume flavorings and scents. I'm very sensitive to it.
For this recipe using quality ingredients I never had any hints of perfume.
I started using it on day 1. I made 50ml and put it in a 120ml bottle shook it till it looked sorta milky from all the bubbles. Left open for 1hr then closed it. After it settled I started using it.
If using the wrong flavoring I can see getting a odd odor/taste.
Cheesecake and cheesecake graham crust are a bit different. Hint is graham. Basically it's a mix of cheesecake and graham cracker crust.
It would be different but probably would still be good. Just need to adjust the ratio.
Also the % is not bad. Truly depends on your vg/pg ratio.
Probably 10-15% for 80% pg. Vg does not carry flavor as well as pg. Which is why most % are higher.
I also just mixed up 480ml @ 4MG of this recipe. Cost about $10-15.
Tastes great single or dual coil sub ohm.
Though I vape only tabacco flavors, this one is awesome. Tried 30ml for the start and ended with 100ml bottle. :)
I use more PG (~70%), so I reduced % of flavor to 15% and i'ts still very good.
Thank you!
I first put the flavoring and nicotine in a beaker then I use a battery operated frother for abut 30s to 2 minutes then I slowly add vg while continuing frothing. The 2x aa I have barely turns in the vg. May be poor batteries.
Then I pour into my bottle or bottles and start using.
Otherwise I put all flavoring and nicotine in my bottle seal then shake for about 30s then add vg and shake for about 2 minutes. Ie 20ml to 30ml bottle. Leaves enough room to get a good shake.
Otherwise I don't steep long unless large bottles. As they steep till I use it.
There shouldn't be muted flavor unless ur wicking way too tight.
you can get this one shot of mothers milk here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152572175462?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=451978243150&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
and its bloody great i made 300ml out of 60ml concentrate
and iv been vaping this stuff for almost two years its that good!
Ive been making this for a long time and its the people favorite but unfortunately in my last supply order they sent me regular TFA cheesecake :(
Anyone used the regular cheesecake instead of graham crust?
I have graham cracker from TFA...how much of that could I add with the cheesecake to get close?
I've recently made a 300ml batch of this recipe, the only modification i did was i changed the vg/pg ratio to 70/30. It has been 2 days since i started steeping the liquid, when i tried it, i couldnt taste anything. Not even a trace of the cream nor the strawberry. Anyone knows how to fix this problem? (I stored my liquid in my cabinet with the cap on)
oh and is this liquid supposed to be not sweet at all or is this supposed to be sweet? because when i tasted a little bit of the liquid it is actually not sweet at all. Usually i judge the sweetness of the vape by actually tasting the liquid itself.
oh no am i screwed? because i poured everything together in a bottle and just gave it a vigorous shake till it turns looking like milk and then capped it before storing it in my cabinet. Is there any fix to this or am i just gonna have to wait for it to steep more?
More steep & shake. I would suggest shake 1 or 2x a day for 2-3 days and give a smell and taste.
Also remember tank or tad and cotton make a huge difference.
Ie tfv8 I could never get a steady flavor. Cotton bacon made it worse for me.
My daily is a jobs engine nano with no wicking flavor issues.
update on 4th day of steeping, tried giving it a warm bath with cap off for an hour, still no changes (not sweet and strawberry wont come out) any suggestions?
Are you sure you did it properly? As in edited the recipe to do your 70/30 and 300ml?
Mine has color to it. And smells instantly when I open it. If your using all tfa/to it should come out without issue. Max I made without mixing first is 100ml in 120ml bottle. And shook it good and it smelled awesome and tasted good.
@AsWangs yes i did follow this exact recipe, only changed the nicotine to 4% and the vg/pg ratio to 70/30. It tasted bland to me, only a hint of the strawberry. I guess im just gonna add some sucralose sweetener to it rather than pouring the whole batch down the drain :(
You might need to rework or adjust your wic.
I honestly don't get a overly strong strawberry taste but a hint of it.
Mind you my ss316 Clapton is 3 weeks old and 2nd cotton change.
Have another week left of my cotton.
Using pads as bacon mutes my flavor.
For me bacon needs to be thinned and rolled to do better. And kept looser.
A fantastic recipe, very nice work. It just tastes of sweetness if vaped immediately, but after around two weeks steeping (one at a push) the flavour profile is great.
Update on the 10th day of steeping, all I can say is AMAZING! eventhough I had to add 2% TPA Sweetener to it. It might be just my taste buds though since I am an extremely sweet liquid type of guy :/.
Either way 5 STARS for this!
I went on exactly as the recipe and it was good after a few days of steeping. Now it's just disgusting. It tastes like vomit. Anyone have a clue about that?
@Miles when i tried to substitute some ripe with sweet it was good but ripe is alot stronger for me. Ie. 50/50 ripe/sweet the sweet was over powering but had a good mix. So if it asked for 10ml ripe I did 5/5 but should have tried 2 sweet and 6 ripe or so.
So if your to try it I would do a 30ml batch and maybe half a ml to start. And adjust as needed.
Update:. Very good as is. first 30 ml didn't last. Made 250 to let steep and another 150 to vape. LOL. My wife is practically drinking this stuff at 30/day. Anyway, Testing after 9 days of steeping, this is absolutely amazing. Thanks for the recipe apwroblewski.
Great flavor even after a week. Strawberry stands out but mixes very well with the various custard notes to give a thick tasting strawberry cream. Trying a new batch with 3% strawberry tfa and 5% strawberry ripe (tfa). Hoping this will allow the strawberry notes to come through strong even after a long steep
It tastes amazing! Only let it steep for two days (I got impatient and had to try it!). It's sweet, but not too sweet. Creates a good plume. For some reason, I want to suggest that maybe graham crust is a tad high? Probably wrong. I'm new. I have no idea what I'm saying 😜
I've only just started making my own e-liquids, and I'm glad I came across your recipe ! Keep up the brilliant work!
Has anyone had success with dropping down the overall percentage of the mix while maintaining flavor? I like the mix a lot but I feel like there is some muting going on.
I don't know what I changed in my last batch besides adding more of strawberry . It has a different taste. But I do agree about some muting of the flavors. I don't always get a strawberry usually just a heavy cream with random strawberry tones.
Don't get me wrong this is still my daily. But I think I will try dropping some flavors down or ommit them completely and see how it tastes.
Worst case is add them back to the mix.
@Boston well I tried changing the recipe by lowering the flavorings by 25% but I also cut strawberry ripe in half and substituted strawberry TFA for the other half. This mix ended up down the drain but it was due to really not liking the strawberry TFA flavor, it tastes very candy like and just did not bode well with my palate.
I agree the flavoring % seems like too much and plan on making another batch at 75% of the listed flavoring, just waiting on my VG to come in the mail. Ill update on here how it comes out. I suspect the high amounts of both strawberry and cream do in fact lead to flavor muting, although this also contributes to the very nice mouthfeel of the vape. We will see in about 2 weeks.
@Boston @AsWangs adding onto my above post I know what you mean when you talk about the "random strawberry tones" sometimes I will get a very nice strawberry flavor in the mix, most of the time I will get a muddled strawberry flavor, and other times I get a very very sweet and overpowering strawberry flavor that doesn't even taste like strawberry but instead tastes similar to raisins. Have either of you experienced this as well? I suspect getting different tones may be caused by the juice not being perfectly distributed so just by random chance you get a hit with either a lot of strawberry or very little.
I am intrigued by the raisin flavor I sometimes get. Maybe its due to overloading of ripe strawberry tasting like an extremely ripened grape aka a raisin. Let me know if you understand what Im saying, Im kind of coming to conclusions as I type this response out.
Vaping on twisted mess RDA with dual micro coils @ .2 ohm 50-60w
When I vaped this on a dual clapton build the problems were exasperated and Id get the raisin taste every single hit.
I don't get any raisin taste. I just made 250ml a few days ago. Added more strawberry and tastes better. But the creaminess bugs me. (Want more notes out of it) lol. *
I'm using ss framed stapled Clapton in a obs engine nano .32 ohm.
I wonder if I don't blend the flavors first if it would get better random notes.
*Each liquid mix is different per tank/rda and of course cotton lol.
@Lissylooxd thats generally how i mix. Nic goes first then flavoring then i basically blend it for 10-30s then start adding vg. Truly cuts steep time for me.
It's the mix of creams that are mainly getting muted as in becomes a thick cream and can't tell the flavors apart. Still smells and tastes good but getting it to pop differently is the issue. Random strawberry notes.
There is tons of ways to mix. Even stirring 1 flavor at a time in vg could make the notes different.
No offense I've also only been mixing a few months with vg. Pg is tons easier to keep some notes together back in the day.
Also some of us could be burned out on the flavors lol.
@AsWangs. I have some shopbought cream eliquid (kream) that creates a real thick flavour. That's what I really want to replicate.
But yeah. I think I agree with the cream flavours being muted. Maybe the cream has to be a lot higher percentage? Idk... good point about the pg though thanks :)
I usually make this mix Max vg. I think Max vg will take longer to steep compared to of heavier pg mixes but the flavor isn't changed much. Although it depends on the temperature you live in. When I lived somewhere cold I couldn't nix Max vg because the v was very thick and would barely mix. Now I live where it's hot and even at Max vg its very viscous.
I do have a lot of this flavor made at once though so I usually let it steep for 3 weeks before vaping.
How long are you sleeping it lissyloo? This recipe produces quite a thick cream mouthfeel and flavor, but it really starts to develop after 2 weeks steep.

Lol @420
1 click works sometimes takes forever to go thru.
In cold humid weather this recipe and my other recipe don't taste as good to me. Although the flavor profile seems tons better. But in hot dry climate they work fine.
I keep a 15ml of 7leaves in the car and it tastes so good when out and about in the heat. (100+ f outside) and it's still clear after staying in car since July 9th I believe.
@aswangs yeah was posting on mobile and it glitched out I guess
If you are in the heat Id recommend the Pink lemonade clone by Micah on this site. Its one of my ADVs and the author responds to every comment too. I love the juice because its a big change from all my other juices and very refreshing.
BTW have you tried changing the flavor percantages in this recipe? I can vape this juice all day but I still feel like I can get better flavor out of it. Im going to start trying a few ideas I have once I get a new shipment of supplies in tomorrow.
Have yet to adjust the % besides more strawberry. I go thru tons of strawberry ripe as it blends the best for me. Not all candy rubbing alcohol tasting.
But I have thought about dropping all by half. And also mixing 1 or 2 creams at a time with strawberry.
I use. Obs engine nano and most recipes I have tried are way over powering. Better for the tfv8 as it already mutes flavors for me.
Have not had a good lemonade vape. Most are too strong and acidic tasting for me.
I have the same feeling about strawberry ripe. Best strawberry flavor imo. I tried to implement 5% ripe 3% strawberry tfa into this recipe but I really dislike the strawberry TFA flavor. It has that odd taste to it.
If you have the ingredients the lemonade I was talking about is worth trying , no overpowering citrus after a few days steep.
@420vapekingxD I don't let it steep long. Maybe a week. Interesting comment about temperatures though. Was wondering myself if I should put my liquids in the airing cupboard
I cut the creams back by bout 1ml-1.5ml and added 1-2ml extra strawberry. Faint smell for me. Wife sprayed febreeze so I can't smell much lol.
430ml batch. 3.5mg
Will give 24-48hr steep and report how it tastes to me.
I made this because it showed up on my "what can I make" and was top rated of them all. Well I'm glad I did! I'm going to try it as a blue unicorn with TPA blueberry X & TPA blueberry wild & make another 120 of this as published. Good work!!
@420vapekingxd
It's actually still good. Wish I didn't add a extra ml or so of strawberry though. I had to rewick as my honeydew killed my wick.(dif recipe). It seems lighter and not so thick & heavy. The strawberry is a bit rich as I added more. (Doesn't exactly give the same strawberry taste.)
This rewick actually enhanced the recipe version also. It's funny how you can never get the same exact flavor profile due to each wicking. I do still need to let this batch steep some as i didnt get to mix it my normal way. Bottle ran out of vg so added via gallon bottle.
@AsWangs so true about getting different tastes. I feel like so many factors can affect how the hit tastes like wick, coils, even what ive eaten recently. I have found if I take a break from vaping this recipe for about a day when I go back to it the strawberry really stands out in front. The problem is it requires you not to vape it for a day! I ended up mixing .5 L of the original recipe just substituting cap vanilla custard for TFA since I prefer it. The flavor percentage looks high but I dont think its too high because it uses TFA flavors which require a higher percentage compared to other companies. This is especially true with strawberry ripe. It takes a good amount of ripe for the taste to come through.
Oh don't get me wrong I make this recipe twice a month. Avg 480ml batches. Almost out of ripe again. Sadly just got my order a couple weeks ago.
The coil, WIC and rda/tank is the main flavor differences. Rarely will we get the exact taste due to it.
The strange thing is I can use the same build, same wick, etc. but still get very different flavors depending on how my pallet is feeling. The creamy "feel" seems to be constant but the strawberry is quite random. Ive found the best way to get the juicy strawberry ripe flavor is to cleanse my taste by vaping another recipe. It seems like my taste "adapts" to the strawberry very quickly so it becomes muted if I continuously vape it. This occurs with all flavors sure, but ive found its very quick with strawberry. Maybe because its such a high percentage? Im sure theres a lot of science that could explain it but to my laymen's knowledge the tastebuds just seem to adapt quickly to a lot of strawberry making it hard to taste.
Hard to say. I can't stand most liquids with strawberry as they make me feel sick. Ripe doesn't effect me.adding more ripe I get some flavor but it's never been strawberry. Just a decent citrus taste. Mind you my taste buds are jacked up a bit for some flavors unless genuine.
Also some I get better and more accurate flavor with half the %.
This was my first Choice to to mix as a new DIY blender. after 2 days steeping i cant believe the quality of the vape. ill never go back to shop bought liquids after the milky mouth orgasm... im gonna try and put it back now and come back to it next week. Thanks for the amazing recipe.
I made 200 ml of this 3 months ago. i had forgotten about it and went to give it a try. It was very blah tasting. thought steeping was good for bringing flavors out. I will try a smaller amount next time and see if a fresh batch is better.
If you followed to the T. Might try mixing with some unflavored. I just put some cotton bacon in and it tastes like crap. I normally use pads.
Cotton bacon I feel would do better with a higher pg. Ie maybe 40-60%.
Will probably try adding some pg later to see if it does better.
Ok I tried 50% cut and it just does not taste right. Sofar this recipe is fine. Atleast for a tank. Just mixed up 370ml. Moore strawberry ripe left. Is on my order list. Now to figure out what I can make with what I have.
Switched to kendo cotton and advancedvapesupply wire in my obs. And It is great sofar.
I'm new to DIY. Made a 30ml batch, shaked it and vaped it staight away as I was curious..of course it wasn't right. But god, after 10 days steeping it was back in my tank and gave me clouds of creamy juicy happiness :D it is now my all day vape and I must thank you for that awesome recipe!
this a great recipe. (one Of ELR's Finest')'..I've been knocking this up for some time now ' & everybody loves it. . But I've always lowered the sweet cream % for me 4 % is way too high' Im sure sweet cream mutes some Flavour's 1.5 - 2 % is perfect... 5 stars' From Us..
@LaFox
I have made it mostly at 30/70 pg/vg with no issue. But lately the flavor has been off since vapors tongue. So now I'm @ about 60-65 vg.and it's fine.
Will try lowering sweet cream like previous poster.
Just need to get my flavor list together to hopefully make more then 3-5 recipes. Since I have no clue what else I might like yet.
Still very good. My first batch of this was in August as a shake and vape. I've made sure to keep 1/2 liter steeping because the flavors seem to really shine at the 25 to 30 day point. Not that it's bad right off but it comes alive after a good rest. If you're on the fence about mixing this stuff, don't be. it's premium quality. Thanks for this one.
I like this one! Still vaping it from time to time for 2 years ). I make 200 ml and forget it for 2 weeks at least away from sunlight, then the taste is perfect! Thanks for sharing this
Hi guys after some advice fairly new to mixing I mixed this up 2 week ago what is the best steep time followed the recipe exactly but reading through the comments can't find a specific steep time ?
Just mixed up 3X60ml bottles of this last night and its already delicious... Can't wait to taste them as time passes... Of the 5 recipes I tested out like this, I like this one the best initially.
Great recipe. I made it two weeks ago and just got a chance to try it today. This stuff is really good. I think the cheesecake flavor is a little stronger than what I was expecting, but overall I'm really impressed.
Es la primera receta que hago y me parece increible, es como si fuese un liquido comercial!! A los 4-5 días está muy bueno ya, si sigue mejorando estará espectacular. Muchas gracias por compartir!!
I dont know what the original taste is, but 3 weeks ago I ordered everything for this recipe (cuzz rating) but NO regrets!!
Every day I tasted (drop on the hand) and I feld like "little more steeping" till yesterday... .
Today I vaped 2 tanks and it is YAMMY.
Thx for sharing
i actually didnt like this at all, But thats not saying its a bad recipe i am just not a fan of strawberry at all anyways, it always tastes like chemicals to me. But i do normally like TFA Strawberry ripe a little and enjoy it in some recipes. But i was getting a slight pepper note with this and im not sure where it was coming from, but either way i still wasnt getting a good flavor off of this. It reminded me of a Sweet strawberry milk recipe from this site, but i liked it a lot more. I will try a longer steep and see if maybe the flavors blend a little better. I made this exact recipe, but after all the flavors its really like a 68/32 or something i cant remember.
LeVOnne - try cutting everything in half, ish!
way too much flavour in this recipe, over flavouring is worse than under flavouring, it just mutes everything and you get this flat weird tasting juice thats hard to pick flavours out of. The peppery taste is probably from the ridiculous amount of TFA creams, not everyone can taste it though, like TFA's vanilla bean ice cream, some people love it but at higher percentages it tastes peppery.
10% Strawberry ripe is just ridiculous, it really is.
For the strawberry note, personally i'd do 3%(TFA) strawberry ripe, 2% (TFA) Strawberry, 1% (FA) Red touch
OR if you only like strawberry ripe, drop it down to 5% and add 0.25% CAP Supersweet.
Cut the creams in half, drop the custard to 2% and drop the graham crust to 3%
i see so many recipes at 20% or hgher, when did this become the norm?REMEMBER PEOPLE MORE FLAVOURING REALLY DOESN'T MEAN MORE FLAVOUR.
Amazing juice! I didn't realize I didn't have enough cheesecake untill I was pouring it. So I had to substitute with the new Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla. And my goodness it turned out amazing! Good job.
Thanks rjpowell92 I'll try the percentage cut. But where I don't particularly likeep strawberry I don't have the ones you mentioned. I will try this again at lower percentages amd report back.
no problem ;) just my two cents! clearly, judging by the comments, ALOT of people like 20%+ flavour XD for me, i cant taste much of anything in the original recipe after a steep, strangely it tasted far better as a shake and vape but 1 week later and the flavour is massively muted! just goes to show how subjective taste really is.
Yeah just use TFA Strawberry ripe and add a dash of CAP supersweet if you have it or 0.5 TFA Sweetener, again thats just what i'd do, i can't taste strawberry without a touch of sweetener, don't know why i just have a hard time tasting it even as a standalone at higher percentages, but then again too much flavour and you get diminishing returns -__-, just gotta find what works for you i guess!
This is so good - thank you. I wasnt sure if I would like this, but I made it yesterday and started vaping it today. My oh My this is fantastic. I can see me doing away with grape lime-ricky and going with this for a few months for sure. Thanks
Well I mixed up 1100ml last night. Was short 9ml vanilla custard.
And sofar it's not a bad thing. Can taste the strawberry now right off.
Soon will have to test out other recipes I can use as my adv.
I can't handle regular strawberry way too strong lol.
This is a sensational recipe everyone who tries it loves it
Absolutely perfect
I made it exactly as per the recipe and have made up 240 mls
Cause I have alot of juice in rotation I left the latest batch for a month not necessary but it's beautiful great after 10 days
Thankyou very much for sharing
@rjpowell92 very well said my friend. Made a 200ml batch with lovering the flavors by 1/3 approximately. The total flovor % is around 15% and it is delicious after 2 weeks steep. just the way i like.
Very well recipe, thanks for sharing.
For people like me who doesn't like too much flavoring, Make a little batch like 20-30ml from original recipe, and tweak down the flavoring or just add some VG/PG to decrease the flavor % as your liking.
Made this up this evening but lowered the percentages , just know thats way too high for me personally , creams cut by half , SB Ripe at 4% , 1% FA red touch , CGC to 4% , VC to 2% , Added 10 drops of Dragon Fruit cos it always helps SB flavours.
Smells really delicious , I'll leave it a week and pinch 30ml to try.
Thanks for the recipe.
Never tried the original so no clue as to how close this is.
This was my first DIY juice, and it came out PERFECT!! Definitely EDV potential. Very custardy with the perfect amount of strawberry. Thanks for sharing!
I mixed exact recipe, 250ml (4.5mg/35pg/65vg) at August 2017. After 1.5 month step, it was perfect. I'm still saving the last 20 ml. I ordered 16oz flavors from TPA and yesterday I mixed first 500ml (2.96mg/30pg/70vg) with DX versions of SC and BC. Fingers crossed, hopefully i am expecting same result. GREAT RECIPE. REALLY, DESERVES 5 STAR. THANKS FOR SHARING MATE.
Steeped for about 2 weeks in a dark place, it seemed to get a bit harsh and no strawberry flavor? Any advice or information? Im going to replace my coils tomorrow and see if the harshness goes away any. Any feedback will be awesome!
I complied a recipe using the recommendations in the comments, using both TFA Strawbetry (ripe) and regular TFA Strawberry, and using TFA Vanilla Swirl instead of custard. You can see it and rate it HERE: e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/2290005/Strawberry+cream+swirl
First try at mixing. With so many good reviews, I must be missing something. The only way to describe what I taste is "opening up a humidor lined with cedar". I'll let it steep and see what happens, but I can't imagine it's going to get that much better. Thoughts?
@Finder there is no way this recipe smells as you described. %100 something wrong with materials in your liquid. My first batch was 250ml, it was perfect. Second is 500ml, still stepping. Only difference is, I mixed DX versions of Sweet Cream and Bavarian Cream in my second batch. Stepped 3 weeks, and ı will wait for 3 weeks more. And smells really f...ing awesome. So, something must be wrong with your batch. Try another batch with fresh new materials from different seller. You will see the difference.
I have about 20 mixes going at any one time a lot of SB and creams. i have about 30 Mods and atomizers and I would say this is in the top 2 or 3 that I have ever tried. For me my tastes will change day to day. I have allergies a c-pap and grand kids so it seems like I always have congestion and drainage but I really like this Mix 5 stars
I have already made 120ml 4 months ago. Awesome shit, best liquid ever vaped.
Now I ran out of TFA ripe strawberry so I will try OoO ripe strawberry at 8% with 2% OoO straberry cotton candy.
Let' see if the strawberry will be nice as the Apro version. Thanks.
I will max the VG as well, 74% vg, yeah
floproNL steeps quicker if you reduce the flavouring slightly, this is waaaay overflavoured, after a certain point it doesnt get any stronger, infact it mutes flavours believe it or not! by all means try the above recipe but i'd make another batch with a third less flavouring for each flavour ;) im a flavour junkie and have a stubborn palette and i never go above 15% with recipes!
ratio is whatver you prefer, depends on your device, personally i use 70/30 and i just lower the percentages a tad:
2.65% Bavarian Cream
3.35% Cheesecake
6.65% Strawberry Ripe
2.65% sweet cream
2% Vanilla custard
Wow wow wow!! Amazing recipe vaped it after one day, can only imagine what it will be after steeping. I made a 30pg/70vg mix. Thank you for the recipe!
Hi, I make the liquid precisely following the recipe. But after 1 hour I tried to vape it using DEAD RABBIT RDA but I found nothing, really nothing. It does not taste anything when i vape it but when i sniff it from the bottle it smells amazing. Now it is already over 48 hour then i try again in my rda it is still nothing. Am i over flavouring? should i add more vg? what should i do? thank you
I´m out of Bavarian Cream TPA right now but I want to try this recipe even with a little change. Is it possible to substitute the Bavarian Cream TPA for Sweet Cream or Vanilla Bean Ice Cream CAP?
made a 30ml batch to see what it was like did a shake and vape and found the graham cracker flavour to be very over powering(was for about a day and a half) now a week later its settled alot the graham cracker isnt as strong and tastes very nice, well done great recipe
Absolutely beautiful- Shake n' vaped 100ml for the first time because I trusted all the positive comments. I will be making another 500ml :)
I had no doubt in my mind that this would be tasty, but it exceeded my expectations. Thank you apwroblewski :)
mixed it a day before. My god, it smells just amazing with just one day steep. planning on steeping it for a week. can't wait to vape it. thanks for the simple and amazing recipe.
just made two max vg (71mg) at 60ml. first ones great straight into snv. but definitely needs steep time. will keep using the first 60ml see how it matures, and tuck the other away for the 3-4week mark.
I mixed 2 versions. The recipe as above which is fantastic. And the other one with capella bavarian cream. Both are very nice. Couldn't say which one tastes better. There is a very small difference in the taste. Actually what I want to say, you can use cap or tpa bavarian cream. Both are great in this recipe.
good for snv but in the end of a day i coudn't taste anything. after few days juice get smoother, but after 3 weeks, gone harsh and absolutely disguasting. i think 4% sweet cream is too much because tastes like a cheese and 10% of strawberry is overpowered and has no taste after few puffs. any suggestion?
Right now I vape this juice which is about 3 weeks old. It's smooth as silk. I tried the second batch which is about 1 1/2 week old. It's a bit harsh, but that's because it's 4mg strength. For some reason everything above 3mg is too harsh for me since a few days. But that's another topic.
For me this recipe is well balanced and I love it.
If this doesnt taste good to you, or tastes muted, try adjusting the flavor percentage to around 17%. This is a great recipe and combination of flavors, but it definitely suffers from over-flavoring. At least to my pallete
@ODF75, The total flavoring. You could probably even do 15%. Strawberry Ripe is chalk full of EM which mutes like crazy, and the time needed for the creams to steep in means the EM muting takes full effect. Sweet Cream also turns cheesy and sour at this high of a percentage. I'd probably lower sweet cream to 1-2%, and bring the strawberry ripe down and supplement with another strawberry (not cap sweet as that has lots of EM as well), to get the full milage out of this recipe. Remember, in DIY less is often more, you can over-flavor quite quickly and kill the vibrancy and potentness.
Dreadpirate Snuffles, thank you for your reply !
Here are thre questions arised (Sorry to ask alot)
1) What does EM stands for?
2) He proposed TPA not cap but as both contain lots of EM what mark you may propose?
3) Let me say, I will keep using strawberry TPA, to what level I can bring strawberry down! for example:
I'm sorry if someone already asked this but I just didn't have the patience to read all of the comments. Is there any flavorings you would suggest to replace the ones with diketones? I have asthma already and prefer to stay away from those if possible..thanks!
I tried this recipe, 30ml batch speed steeping using hotpot and the result is BEAUTIFUL!!! Another 30ml batch already has one week steeping and the result is BEAUTIFUL!!!. Now make 1000 ml batch. Hope I can steep this juice properly for a month. Thank you very much for the recipe!!!
I'm apparently part of those few that taste TFA custard like pepper, at least early on. Probably why I never enjoyed most custards.
2 weeks out: The custard here is way too prominent for my tastes and tastes peppery. I can see why those who like the custard flavors would like this. The custard overshadows some of the added flavors. It's been awhile but I don't remember unicorn milk tasting quite like this and it's definitely not mother's milk. Some homage to strawberry custards of several years ago that's very custardy.
At 1 month, holy turn around. I get why this is popular now. The custard only has a slight peppery bite on the exhale but it’s very slight. This is a really tasty flavor. Nice amount of strawberry and a very rich custard exhale. Slightly eggy and a nice amount of vanilla. Tastes more like Unicorn Milk now albeit a little heavier on the custard aspect. Still I went from shunning ever using TFA Custard again to maybe using it in small amounts. Proof a long steep can have a significant impact.
Hi, just wondering if anyone can give some advice. When I first made this juice it tasted really nice, made four 30ml bottles, all really tasty. So I've just made another 30ml bottle but it barely has any flavour, even tried new coils but nowhere near as tasty as the first lot I made. Any reason for this? I'm drinking lots of water too :) Thanks
@Clouded House too high of a flavor percentage. The amount of time this requires for the creams and custards to settle in means that the ethyl maltol in the strawberry ripe mutes everything in full force. Try adjusting total flavor percentage to around 17, worked quite well for me
@Anborn90, I'm taggin you just to come back and read this,
Sam I am, green eggs and ham, no I wont for blammy gang.
I'm asking folks (who've made it) because I don't want to waste materials. thanks though for letting me know,
When I first mixed this, I had to try it. I didn't like it. But 2 weeks later, it's fantastic!!! I'm wanting to see what it's like after 4 weeks but I'm not sure I can stay out of it that long. Excellent recipe!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
I just made a batch and smells amazing and its been on the magnetic stirrer for about 5 hours. I Just tasted it to see how it was.
It Tastes absolutely awful straight up. Like when you add to much brown suger to a mix. That burnt electrical taste without the burnt.
There is no way this is a make and vape straight away recipe. Im baffled as to why people are saying its great straight up... Maybe it would be if all concentrates % were about 75% less.
Definitely think it is going to need a month or two steep.
The strawberry ripe percentage worried me from the get go. Strawberry ripe seems to work better at 0.5 to 4% in a mix IMO. It can easily mute itself or other flavors at high % and high percentages of other flavours tend to mute Strawberry easily also. EM always mutes strawberry also. Its a very heavy flavor concentrate mix.
Ide love to make a batch and lower a few of the flavor concentrates percentages and steep it the same time to try both in a few months. Maybe start with Straw Ripe at both 4 & 8% and cream at 2% max.
Also get this exact recipe and treat it as a doubler adding 100% more VG to it. Making it around 70/30 instead of 50/50 and testing that also in two months along with the others.
Was this recipe meant to be made as a doubler?????
i think this recipe is for older setups that are higher resistance. In my sub-ohm setups I mix this at 17.5% total flavours and let it steep for 3 weeks minimum. As such, it's my favourite mix. I also do it with blueberries instead of strawberry and I do it with TPA strawberry ripe plus TPA organic strawberry. I've tried it with TPA strawberry alone too. I've tried it with INW Shisha and didn't like it very much. TPA strawberries work best here IMO. The ripe/organic combo works best for me. With blueberries I use Extra & Wild together.
@chuck333...the blueberry version sounds amazing! What % of each do you use? Although I love this recipe, I feel like the strawberry is a bit muted. I'm going to try lowing the percent a bit.
My advise: after many tries of mixing. Do not try to change the recipe. The maximum you can do is to minumize strawberry to 5% and 1% from everyone of the rest. Otherwise, you will never get a homogeneous liquid. With this recipe you need steeping 10 days that would be more than enough
Hi @apwroblewski I have made a 70 vg 30 pg 6mg of this Juice using the exact flavours and percentages mentioned after adapting this recipe to my needs. Will this adapted recipe need more steeping time? I can't taste anything till now. It's been two days since I made this juice. Please help me out guys. Or if someone has experience with adapting this recipe to 70:30 successfully, then let me know.
Thanks in advance!!
I get it now. I will steep this 200 ml batch for 1 month. Tried vaping it in the middle, tasted horrible and majorly killed my throat. Will let you know once I have tried it after a month.
I went away for three months and had a batch steeping the whole time. It was awesome. The strawberry mutes but the blended tastes and aromas are wonderful.
@apwroblewski Sr. i've been vaping this recipy for almost a year now. i rarely comment, anywhere tbh, but you deserve the exception. this juice is my favorite BY FAR from all the juices i've been able to taste in the... year and half i've been vaping. and the very vast majority of ppl that that tastes it, wants it. i'd say that if i ever got a critique from it, was from some juice vendor that was jelly.. i mean it.
in fact, this is about how it goes when most ppl taste it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBjfLE5uX0A
hahahaha for reals.
so, THANK YOU SO MUCH from all of us who have tried this nectar here in argentina.
The base is absolutely fantastic! It's creamy, sweet, custardy, with just the right amount of vanilla. If you aren't a fan of strawberry, just sub in whatever fruit/berry/citrus you want. Adjust the amount accordingly. Blueberry, raspberry, and pineapple work well!
Im not a fan of strawberry. So i swapped out the strawberry with Butterscotch. and i absolutely LOVE it after 15 days. I can't wait to try it out after 30 days.
I think most of us are making the mistake of not using enough percentage of flavourings, strange how all the top mixes have
higher percentage mixes than i would normally use..
Only my opinion i would never had though i would have to go
so high with the % but im thinking with TPA CAP AND FW
we need to bump the % up by quite a bit...
Hello there, I accidentaly bought Bavarian Cream from Flavour Creative (rebranded FlavourArt).
How much should I change the percentage? Any idea?
Thank you :)
strong chemical taste at day 1 as well as day 3. Its not the bottle cause i mixed "strawberry fog " in another bottle and it tastes chemical too. So it has something to do with the cheesecake or str. ripe as both recipes use same percentages.Trying to nail this down. Any help would be precious.
@jg yeah i know but i have never tasted a chemical taste strong as this one so i'm just wondering.I will let it steep anyway and see how it goes.I mixed it 30/70 , isn't 26% flavor a lot though?
It sounds like to much but it works, I have 2 bottles 1 from 1/21/19 and 1 from 2/20/19 I don't smell or taste the chemical? This is in my top 5 adv.. I would put it away for another week. Ive had some mixes that smell so bad the first week or so i almost dumped them out only to come back a 2-3 weeks and there the bomb. I'm no expert need someone that's been doing this for awhile to chime in...
My all new favourite ADV, i steep two 100 mls at a time and when the one bottle is empty i just make it up again. i feel this recipe is best after 3 week steep..... good things takes time. thanks for sharing this awesome recipe
Mixed a 10 ml shake n vape tasted like strong cheesecake and vanilla with no strawberry at all. Let it breath for 6-7 hours, capped, next day was weaker and still no strawberry. This might be a waste of flavors or is the strawberry coming after steeping for a week or more?
I typically have sb issues. Haven't mixed this but those who are having trouble tasting strawberry after steeping, 12% TFA Strawberry Ripe usually works for me. If you're still having trouble, drop the creams &/or custard percentages a bit. That usually works for me and likely how I'll mix this one. Also, 3% FA Juicy Strawberry & 5% INW Shisha Strawberry is my main go to sb combo.
This is my favorite mix so far. I have several friends and co-workers that like to sample along as i learn new mixes, and this is their favorite as well. only issue we are having is that the graham crust king of dominates the mix, with the rest of the flavors trailing as kind of an after note. still damn good. i may tweak a tiny bit to fit our preferences but over all, bravo.
I mixed this earlier. It's great. Now, I just realized I ordered Sweet Cream from Flavor West instead from TPA. I don't know the FW variant. Is it a big difference?
I have a 80/20 PG / VG base, I want to make this recipe, I need advice on how to do it right? What is the ratio of PG / VG will have the final product? Can reduce the concentration of flavors, or something else? Should I do it at all and how will it affect the taste and quality? I will be glad to any advice!
@DSNAY If you were to make a 10 ml batch (0 nic) you would need 7.4 ml base and 2.4 ml of flavour. The 7.4 ml of base has 1.48 ml of pg and 5.92 ml of vg. You would be adding 2.4 ml of pg(flavour) to that base. The total ratio vg:pg = 5.92: 3.88. To get percentages it is (3.88/10)*100 = 38.8% pg
(5.92/10)*100 = 59.2% vg
Thank you for this recipe!!! Made 30ml just to try and I like it a lot. Now about to make 120ml and steep for 3-4 weeks I’m sure it’s going to be one hell of a juice. Thanks a lot 👍
just made one yesterday and it's really good but i feel it taste more like strawberry cheesecake! idk if it's bc it didn't steep it yet? but great flavor! thank you so much for sharing :D
Made this yesterday. Tried it today, all I’m getting is a very smooth creamy cheesecake type taste. It’s nice, going to let it steep for the suggested 1 month and try it again.
In my opinion:
(Kayfu Prime, Kantal A 0,32mm 7 winds 14-18W)
Due to super big amount of strawberry ripe and maltol in it I get just a nice tasty cookie. Strawberry I don't feel at all.
After steep 16 days.
I will try later ant will try on Spica
But BIG BIG thank you for your recipe and great work
I have done this recipe and have let it be dor 12 days now.. I taste is and taste horrible follow the recipe by the book weigth with scale. How long time is the steep?
I have done this recipe and have let it be dor 12 days now.. I taste is and taste horrible follow the recipe by the book weigth with scale. How long time is the steep?
Love this recipe! as close as I can get to Milf's Gone Wylde from Preferred Vapor. Made it without Nicotine. Will try next batch with Nic to see if it makes a difference
Going to give this a try today but not at 26% way too much flavoring tbh, it should be more like 20% maximum. But I'm also swapping the strawberry for blueberry extra.
@Stravz65 I'm inclined to agree with you. 26% is definitely a little excessive; at least when TFA Strawberry Ripe isn't even that weak of a flavour. It may work but IME, heavy percentages have a tendency to overwhelm the tastebuds and after the first 5 mins of vaping leave one with a case of "vapers' tongue".
That said, credit where credit is due: choice & ratio-wise this definitely looks like a nice recipe to try out, I'll murk up a tester at maybe half or just above to start with :)
WOW, simply a great recipe. Awesome taste. However I lowered the percentages of each flavor accordingly so the total percentage came to 20.5% I rarely go over 20% total flavor,
Usually im more close to 12/15%.
Way to much custard, it taste to strong and kills the other flavours. For me, I will drop it with at least 1.5% and try to find a new balance. Maybe cut back the strawberry and add some dragonfruit.
@Eyebrowse well after testing 2x 250ml bottles of it, it's rather enjoyable but I have tried it with even further reduced rates and the outcomes was even better and also by swapping the the cheesecake for CAP Glazed Doughnut was amazing too.
I now mix this at:
Bavarian Cream (TPA) 2.00%
Cheesecake (Graham Crust) (TPA) 3.00%
Blueberry Jam (CAP) 5.00%
Sweet Cream (TPA) 2.00%
Vanilla Custard (TPA) 2.00%
Gave it a go as written. For the amount of flavouring present, it's pretty weak. Just a very slight hint of strawberry, a little bit more of the cheesecake crust, and after a few puffs it all just fuzzes together into a neutral VG/PG tasting mess.
Honestly can't see any justification for the high ratings, but I guess it works for some.
Remember, it's from 2015, liquid and vaping devices were different. Must lower the % of flavors if you're vaping on a sub ohm tank. Otherwise you'll find this bitter chemical taste.
I mixed this liquid following the percentages indicated, but it is exaggeratedly too strong using the current flavors on the market (year 2021). I recommend mixing between 12-14%.
Why are all these recipes loaded with such high percentages? According to DIY or DIE, less is more. I always see recipes here with around 20% how can that be good?
This is a great recipe! A very tasty blend of strawberries and cream with a little extra. The 70/30 blend works well and would not alter it IMO.
For me, a week long steep does the trick. I've been dripping this as an ADV in my ARGUS GT with a wasp nano 22mm RDA. Keep up the great work!
This is a very good recipe. One of my favorites so far. The VC1 can give a pepper taste but you MUST let this steep for at least 3 full weeks. The pipertol in it will calm down and it will be GOOD!
This recipe is really good. It has great layers with creams and custard and strawberries. However this is an old recipe and if you use this percentages it will taste like chemicals. Try to halve the percentages. Modern devices are much better than the old ones so you will taste the flavors much more than 2015s.
i have all these ingredients (TFA) but i dont have tfa vanilla custard so i used capella v1 and v2 and it does not taste well. the flavors are muted. do you think the flavors will be there if i steep it for 1 week?
Holy heck this is amazing after 15 days! Just made another batch to steep for four weeks. Adjustments were using DX Bav Cream, V2 Vanilla custard and Cap Sweet Cream
@aboyandhisblotto because this is more of a commercial liquid, commercial liquids use higher %'s and more sweetener than most "popular" diyers. I've been mixing since 2015, a house line in a shop and selling my own. I still vape on the same .08 dual coil drippers today that I did in 2015, albeit some of the drippers are different, but I still use my velocity v1 and v2 everyday and have since 2015. For me a balance of flavorings is needed, so diyers like Wayne I don't care for 99% of the recipes he releases and much prefer something like this(commercial style). Because the %'s are higher this requires a 3 to 4 week steep for all of that flavoring to blend together and marry, buy again I'd much rather vape this than one of Wayne's 7% strawberry and cream recipes. Liquids are SOOOOOOOO subjective, YOU have to find out what YOU like, if you like a recipe that uses 25 or 30% flavoring, then so be it. As long as you're safe their is no wrong way to vape, do what YOU like. In order to find out you're going to have to make liquids and try out different %'s and different recipes. I've seen countless numbers of people get into diy and they get frustrated, they say " my diy doesn't taste nearly as good as the commercial liquids I used", and it's because commercial liquids use higher %'s and more sweetener. Once they increase those 2 things they're much happier and start to enjoy diy.
I don't even think Wayne mixes that much anymore. He has the same bottle of n6 cheesecake he's had since this recipe came out. He still uses liquid barn nic which they haven't made in a long time.
@Apathy I was just explaining this to a friend the other day. I even showed him on a few very popular and highly successful juice company sites that sell their concentrates as one shots where they recommend mixing them at 25 to 30 percent with VG. Always mix how you like and tastes good to you.
Hey everybody.I do not like to use too much flavor in the juice.I tried to cut all of them half.I used
Bavarian cream %2
Graham crust %2.5
Strawberry ripe %5
Sweet cream %2
Vanilla custard %1.5
%50 VG, %50 PG for MTL.
But i don't get any strawberry.Almost all crust and cream. So i think these are too strong. If i try to lower total flavor how can i choose the percentage of the flavours? Thanks.
@brski ya should be able to cut them in half but keep the strawberry at 6 or 7%. Being that it's only one strawberry and a fairly weak on, it needs at least 6 or 7% to stand out as there's ALOT of creams is has to break thru. Maybe even 8 or 9%, but I think 6 or 7 should be enough
I’ve actually read and appreciate every comment and I vape out of a vaporesso zero2 and plan to make as written as I have a lot of tpa flavors I bought years ago wish me luck lol…;)
@magnus90 absolutely 💯 %. As long as youre being safe, there is no right/wrong way to vape or mix. It's all personal preference. With mixing each individual flavoring has its use "zone" %. Some flavors like say cap vc v1 works anywhere between .5% to upwards of 15%, but some flavorings only work well from say .10% to 1%, some work between 1 to 5%. Each individual flavoring has its range to be used in that works well. And for older flavor houses like tfa/caps/ & fw only recipes ya can definitely mix up to 30%+. Now if youre gonna make an all ssa or say wonder flavors recipe, you're more than likely only gonna use 1 or 2% of each flavoring.
I dont have tpa sweet cream I for the cap sweet cream would that work? I’ve heard that 2% Fa cream fresh and 1% Fa meringue should work as a nice sweet cream. What do you think would work?
Great as shake and vape, used exact percentages in recipe replaced sweet cream with dx sweet cream (can't compare) I can see myself using it daily.
Thanks!
Mjonsrud31 yes ya can sub out the TFA sweet cream for caps or fw or almost any cream. It won't be the exact recipe but it's still good. I'd use fw sweet cream at 2 to 2.5% & caps at 2.5 to 3%. If ya have it RF sweet creams my favorite one
