The real thing is amazing. My wife and I just went threw a 30ml bottle in less then a 48 hour period. I'm determined to find a good clone. I'm short a few of the ingredients from this one but I do have tfa frosted donuts on its way along with Capella glazed donuts. I still need some graham crust and Vienna cream. I also just ran out out of ripe strawberry which makes me sad. I will definitely give this a shot or at least use it as base to work from. Thanks so much

Great recipe!!! So delicious. Also I use chocolate glazed donut in place of frosted and it's PERFECT as shake and vape and max vg.
Many thanks mate!

I made this - with one sub - I used a sweet cream instead of Vienna (Vienna is ordered) and I think that the frosted donut has to have a higher increase to be tasted in the mix. Unless you tell me is gets stronger over time? I am going to take some at this current ratio and up the Frosted D to 6,8,10 % to see what tastes more like original.
#4 by voipninja, Oct 30. 2015, 01:03
Good point, I believe the strawberry dies down over time which allows the donut to come through a bit more, let me know how it turns out.
#5 by jonsmiff, Jan 1. 2016, 03:54
Any word of if this one is legit?
#6 by Soulpole23, Jan 25. 2016, 18:53
It's good but needs more doughnut flavor. Let this steep for just about a month and it tastes more like candy than it does a doughnut. Next time I make it, I am going to increase the doughnut a little or maybe sub a CAP doughnut.
#7 by Amy***, Jan 27. 2016, 04:31
I wanted to thank you for inspiration. I adapted your recipe Bc I can't do high pg juices. Oh man it is so very good. I did change some flavors and I did add a few new flavors that were vg based. I will try it again at a lower % but as of now 24 hours later it is awesome.

This is a great recipe. Seems great right away and excellent after a couple months. Win win. If you're not a fan of cinnamon then sub out the TFA Frosted Donut for CAP Glazed Doughnut and you're good to go

This is really damn good man. Much props.

After 2 weeks of steeping I taste tested this. It tastes like a delicious strawberry milk. Great as a shake and vape, even better with steeping. I don't taste any doughnut at all, but with how delicious it turned out I'm not upset at all. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
#12 by Geffen, Mar 9. 2016, 01:16
Found a bottle of this I mixed over six weeks ago, and its PERFECT. Swapped to CAP Glazed donut. Strawberry fades to the background, and all the donut goodness comes through.
#13 by Jeff and Ryan , Mar 25. 2016, 04:01
Didn't have strawberry so I subbed Blueberry. I'll let it steep and report back!
#14 by voipninja, Apr 9. 2016, 19:15
please do, that does sound good. What blueberry flavor?
#15 by Jeff and Ryan , Apr 9. 2016, 21:16
Here's the recipe e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/541781/D%2527ohnuts+clone+Blueberry+
Needs steeping for sure. With the Blueberry I think I need to add an extra Cream to make it smoother
#16 by Hollywood VApes, Apr 14. 2016, 04:48
Gonna have to try this is there two versions of the original I dont like strawberry ripe much.....You gotta try this recipe I just found, I cut it in half but its still super delicious too and fairly similar I believe

what I meant to say was I remember liking d'ohnuts at a B & M and liking it but I dont like that strawberry combo personally and remember two kinds one I did not like as much. No offense to this one at all different tastes for diff folks and all. I just would really like to know what the other D'oh nuts flavor was......I am going to try the blueberry version of this though it sounds delicious! And I still gave a good rating ;-)

http://www.giantvapes.com/go-nuts/
It's a combination of these two. Go nuts is the best imo
#19 by voipninja, Apr 15. 2016, 02:39
Hollywood Vapes - I know exactly what you mean. The Strawberry combo in this recipe is my favorite, and anytime I am mixing someone else's recipe that calls for strawberry I normally sub it out to the 50/50 blend I use here because I know I like it. I think the version of strawberry isn't as important as the percentage used, and that's what makes DIY so great, you can adapt anything to your tastes !

Jeff and Ryan - Go nuts does look good, I can't believe I have not heard of it before, I have an order on it's way thanks for the suggestion. And thanks for the Blueberry recipe, I will be mixing this one up soon as well. I have been using the hell out of Capella's Vanilla Whipped Cream, after a day or 2 of steeping it is amazing at 3%, maybe that will go well with the Blueberry.
#20 by Hollywood VApes, Apr 16. 2016, 00:35
I gotta get that vanilla whipped thanks for reminding me to put it on the list.....I also think I may have tried a different kind, after some research I believe it was maybe Doughboys . It came in a bag like the mini donuts come in with the fold over top. Pretty fancy stuff....I would love to clone that....I might go to the B&M and sample some just to see if I can clone it off memory lol
#21 by Jeff and Ryan , Apr 16. 2016, 01:05
I got a big bottle of cap Vanilla Whipped cream and was wondering what I could do with it. Please let us know what it does to the Blueberry and what else you use it for!
#22 by apollo, May 5. 2016, 04:15
Yeah tried making 10ml of this tonight for my first DIY. I'm a fruit menthol guy, but this tastes pretty awesome. Did 0 nic for my first run, but I'm definitely making more of this tomorrow. Nice work getting the recipe!
#23 by Hollywood VApes, May 19. 2016, 06:16
Wow I got blueberry jam by capella and made a blueberry version with it and it is so good....I also got FW nat. straw and INA shisha straw and have been working combos of those with the sweet straw to get a good straw % ratio I really like to put with this recipe....and I am definitely liking caps van whipped so far!!
#24 by Wallstreet, Jun 3. 2016, 07:55
steep time anyone??
#25 by windsorclarence, Jun 3. 2016, 08:03
Steep for a week or more. I definitely prefer it with Cap Glazed Doughnut instead of TFA Frosted Doughnut
#26 by Hollywood VApes, Jun 3. 2016, 10:06
LOVE CAPS GLAZED!!!
#27 by probywan, Jun 16. 2016, 05:44
tastes ok i guess with shake n vape, but after a few weeks steep it just turns into a huge mess. not a fan sorry :/
#28 by AlTo, Jun 30. 2016, 18:18
yep, Capella's donut has a more real donut like taste. gonna try it with cap. But THanx a lot
#29 by tonyp, Jul 14. 2016, 11:19
I didn't get any donut taste from this. More of a creamy strawberry.
Not horrible, but not what I was looking for.
#30 by AlTo, Jul 15. 2016, 22:06
tonyp ++
#31 by Seventy6ix, Jul 23. 2016, 19:58
This isn't bad but it's NOT D'ohnuts. Not even close. Sorry
#32 by Hollywood VApes, Jul 24. 2016, 06:05
have you tried the clone that this was made from TURK182? Its in the notes it uses caps glazed in that one....
#33 by Seventy6ix, Jul 24. 2016, 06:18
Subbing Caps donut in this still doesn't taste anything like the original.
#34 by Seventy6ix, Jul 24. 2016, 06:19
Like I said it isn't all bad , but it's not a clone.
#35 by tonyp, Jul 24. 2016, 07:42
Try Cronut recipe by Amy.
It's very good.
#36 by officialsx, Aug 26. 2016, 23:26
Do you have a recommended steep time?
#37 by Bjarte Ryland, Sep 1. 2016, 18:39
This one have been in my regular rotation since i started to vape on it in (mid May. I ALWAYS let my mixes steep for 6 weeks). I didn't have any Sweet Strawberries at that time, so I used 7% Ripe instead. The strawberries taste disappeared a bit. This time I'm gonna mix 100 ml. with both of the strawberries and use Glazed Donuts (CAP) instead of the frosted one. And I will use the rest of the recipe as a stone for some 10 ml, test-batches with different other fruits instead of strawberries. I very much like the donut taste in this recipe Kudos!!!
#38 by Locnar, Nov 12. 2016, 06:02
Swapping:
Sweet Strawberry --> Blueberry Extra (TFA)
Vienna Cream --> Cream Cheese Icing (LA)
Will report back in a month.
#39 by ThourSey, Feb 18. 2017, 00:04
Nice. But not even close to the real deal
#40 by Friza inamorta, Feb 27. 2017, 22:45
Thanks.. I'll try next week
#41 by cincinnatiking, Mar 7. 2017, 04:51
Is this similar to Enyawreklaw's Pebble Bronuts? I really like his recipe, but I'm out of Cap's Sugar Cookie.
#42 by Nebuchadnezzar, May 13. 2017, 16:17
Have you tried adding FA Joy to the recipe?
#43 by Dieseltech1982, May 31. 2017, 20:16
Man this is great with a cup of black coffee!
#44 by bertje, Jun 9. 2017, 22:35
SuperB !!!
#45 by Liquidation, Dec 14. 2017, 22:53
I found that changing the ratio of strawberries from 1/2 ripe 1/2 cap to 3/4 ripe 1/4 cap, (or 3/4 ripe 1/4 FA) Add a .5% to 1% of cereal 27 or other cereal flavor + 1.5% sweetner and you got yourself The One by Beard Vape Co.
#46 by cholrus, Oct 2. 2018, 19:43
Delicious after a few days of steeping
#47 by Keyzersöze, Apr 15. 2019, 12:51
This is simply amazing. To me it tastes exactly like a strawberry doughnut. Haven't tasted the original, but this.. This is gooooood
#48 by Keyzersöze, Apr 15. 2019, 12:52
Oh yea, subbed TPA with CAP glazed
#49 by vjayz, Apr 11. 2021, 10:18
After 4 days of steeping it tastes awesome!
Thanks for sharing.
#50 by JAMM, Aug 17. 2021, 22:55
