shoot I like it right out of the bottle. I will definitely call it a shake-n-vape
#2 by ThirdWorldOrder, Jan 1. 2015, 20:20
Made this with Vanilla Custard V2 and it was awesome
#3 by ullikem, Jan 6. 2015, 05:43
just made this with 2% cheesecake (Graham Crust) added in. Super good, i agree with the shake and vape, next time i will steep it see what its like then.
#4 by droovetoina, Jan 17. 2015, 19:04
what's more strong? vanilla custard TPA or CAP?
#5 by Blues , Jan 20. 2015, 14:50
Drove vanilla Custard Cap is much more flavorful...
#6 by woodsnake, Jan 26. 2015, 20:55
This turned out really well. First bottle mixed by weight. I thought 10% was pretty low for flavouring, but its steeping well on day 3. Little light out of the bottle right after mixing/ultrasonic, but its coming through now. Definite candidate for 120ml mix. Thanks for sharing!!
#7 by SirTimmyTImbit, Jan 27. 2015, 08:59
Is water/pga/vodka essential to the mix? Can I use tap water or distilled water only?

Thanks for sharing the recipe :)
#8 by Blues , Jan 27. 2015, 09:11
Sir Timmy yes distilled water is The type of water you'd want to use BUT KEEP IN MIND that when you see Water/Vodka/PGA that doesn't mean you need (or should) ever use all three !! Some folks use distilled water to dilute the mix and others use ethyl alcohol (Vodka, clear springs 190 etc.) for throat hit.. PGA can also be used but keeping kind you don't use a concoction of the three (unless specified).. This recipe doesn't specify which one is being used (probably ethyl for throat hit ??). I can say that I've left them all out and have had great results...
#9 by SirTimmyTImbit, Jan 27. 2015, 09:21
Thanks Blues! I think I'm gonna leave them out as well, 10% of any of the three is too high for me :D
#10 by Blues , Jan 27. 2015, 12:38
Timmy if you're a Grants custard nut like me.. check this one out too...

I really like your way my friend ole!!!
This recipe is absolutely delicious...
So creamy so tasty so Custard!
Many thanks buddy and many stars to you!
#12 by Aaron L., Feb 15. 2015, 19:08
This is so good. Actually kind of reminds me of cold stone cake batter ice cream for some reason! So good, btw I used TFA cheesecake (graham crust) instead of the cap stuff
#13 by Aaron L., Feb 15. 2015, 19:09
Also used TFA french vanilla, but did use CAP vanilla custard v2
#14 by Aaron L., Feb 15. 2015, 19:09
Also used TFA french vanilla, but did use CAP vanilla custard v2
#15 by Blues , Feb 15. 2015, 21:35
Are you guys mixing the flavors at 10% ?? Or are you mixing them double and omitting the water/vodka/pga ?? Since it doesn't state which one of the three (water/vodka/PGA) to use ???
#16 by woodsnake, Feb 17. 2015, 05:07
I enjoyed the first 30ml I mixed @ 10%, but I mixed it slightly higher VG, and the next batch got upped to 15%, keeping the same ratio. I don't use PGA/water/Vodka, and 0 sweetner in there either. This is a great custard.
#17 by Blues , Feb 17. 2015, 05:39
Thanks woodsnake !! I also think this is a nice recipe too !!! :)
#18 by cnbarrels, Apr 12. 2015, 04:51
I couldn't wait! My new adv! I also went with 15% max VG this is exactly what I was looking for. I get max flavor and BIG clouds. Thank you for sharing. Hitting it at 30w on a sigelei box mod with the starre tank. I can't go with out it!!!
#19 by fairtradesloth, Apr 23. 2015, 23:09
I love it, thank you so much for posting! I do it a bit differently, I use the V2 custard and a different vanilla, maxVG with slightly higher percentages and no DW...lol I guess quite a bit differently...but it rocks. 5 stars. Thank you so much!! The first really good DIY I've made :)
#20 by ongoingdata, May 2. 2015, 07:45
Thnx. made 25ml and like it alot, so made 80ml more :)
oh yeah 70/30 vg/pg 10mg ratio.
Didnt have Water/Vodka/PGA, so had to left it out.
#21 by gerry, May 3. 2015, 04:46
after reading the reviews I expected to taste a good juice but I didn't expect it to be this good awesome!!! I also mixed higher flav. % and heavy vg A+
#22 by eni87, May 9. 2015, 11:05
will try this soon. nice share
#23 by The Vaping Goat , May 28. 2015, 17:32
This is simply lovely. I made it exactly as per the recipe and steeped it. I'm tempted to add a further 1% vanilla custard V1 but as they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and this is one of the true gems on e-liquid-recipes.com
Thank you for sharing this with us all.
#24 by BunnyT, May 29. 2015, 22:47
I was skeptical because I'm a Grant's fan but your recipe changed that. Very, very good! Thanks for sharing. (I did add two drops of butter, yeah, I like to live dangerously)
#25 by ADV_search, Jun 4. 2015, 18:53
gonna try this one love me some vanilla custard
#26 by Sirkris, Jun 5. 2015, 06:25
I used FA Vanilla bourbon, cap v2, and tfa cheesecake graham crust. It's great as a shake and vape. I should of made more to steep!
#27 by Blues , Jun 5. 2015, 10:43
So personally gratified that you guys enjoy this as much as I have.. This recipe can be ejoyed with adjustsments as much as being left untouched, and I give MAD props to the OP ... :)
#28 by Kraven, Jun 11. 2015, 03:49
My variation 30/70 3% [5% Cap VC v.1] [3 .3% Cap NY cheesecake] [3.3% TFA French vanilla]. I usually steep my custards for at least twelve days, but I think that the Cheesecake really shines through right away as a shake and vape, it's sweet, it's a little nutty and a little buttery. I'm guessing after a good steep it's gonna go fast and I'll have to make more.
#29 by Jubei007, Jun 20. 2015, 06:04
I did not have the exact Vanilla flavors around like others, so I used Vanilla Swirl TFA and Vanilla Custard TFA and it came out very good. I'll eventually get the CAP Vanilla's to try out the original on day. The longer it steeps, more subtle flavor notes are expressed. Thanks for the recipe!
#30 by The Vaping Goat , Jun 22. 2015, 21:39
Just made a 30ml tester of this and swapped the Cap NYCC for TPA Cheesecake graham crust just to see what it's like. They're two very different Cheesecakes, Cap not really being one but a great base, and the TPA being more of a true Cheesecake.
#31 by singlecoil_vape, Jul 9. 2015, 18:02
gonna mix this up been looking for a good custard
#32 by The Vaping Goat , Jul 9. 2015, 19:29
Vaped a few tank fulls of this with the TPA in place of the Cap NYCC. It's just as delicious but a little different.
#33 by rygodd, Jul 15. 2015, 10:04
Recipe to a T is perfect for my liking. Immediately after trying the tester I filled up a 120 with it. Thank you
#34 by Blues , Jul 15. 2015, 11:05
Like Many of you, I've been using this recipe "as is" and variants and their always good..
The big question for me, is the OP never actually says anything specific about the 10% Water/Vodka/PGA.. I'd Love to know if he uses water, Vodka or PGA ?? or is it a mix of them ??
What do you guys think ?? Would really like to make this exactly as it was intended.. Maybe we can all put our heads together and figure this out ??
Ole Frederiksen, if you could chime in, I'd be obliged...
#35 by Ole Frederiksen, Jul 15. 2015, 11:53
Thnx ALL of you.
I personally always use Vodka in my mix. as there is NO pollution or other unwanted stuff. And due 2 my VG is very thick !
And that small amount that i use You can´t even taste it

Still i´m happy to share any recipe that people/fellow vaper´s like!
#36 by Blues , Jul 15. 2015, 13:01
@Ole Thank you !! I can't wait to give this a try !!
I'm hittin' the package store first thing in the AM LoL !! I think I may go with a few "nips" definitely got to get "goose", " belvedere", and then one of those whipped cream flavored kinds by Smirnoff or Pinnacle... ;)
#37 by turbotoast, Jul 24. 2015, 03:42
DO NOT USE TFA Cheesecake!!! It tastes like freaking cheese lol.
#38 by The Vaping Goat , Jul 24. 2015, 10:38
TFA Cheesecake (Graham Crust) is good with this imo. I vape it with either Cap NYCC or TFA Cheesecake (Graham Crust)
#39 by Warproof, Jul 28. 2015, 06:56
After 2 month wicked good , i had to tweak it to get it like i wanted
French Vanilla V2 (CAP) 8%
New York Cheesecake (CAP) 8%
Vanilla Custard v2* (CAP) 9%
2 month steep
thanks amazing recipie :)
#40 by Mike, Aug 5. 2015, 18:49
This is the first decent custard recipe I've found. Seriously good. I speed steeped in a slow cooker for 6 hrs then left it for a further 10 days. Really smooth and creamy. Thanks
#41 by 601VaPoRs, Aug 8. 2015, 14:36
A great recipe for sure
#42 by Bongo, Aug 8. 2015, 20:34
tried this with slightly more flavouring and used French vanilla v2 and it's very good. thanks for the recipe
#43 by AMS_RoninGTR, Aug 12. 2015, 06:16
If I want to make 60ml of this, how much of each flavor would I use? I am new to DIY e-liquid. I am in Tampa Bay Florida
#44 by ongoingdata, Aug 12. 2015, 06:20
Hey AMS just double the amounts since its 30 ml recipe.
#45 by The Vaping Goat , Aug 12. 2015, 10:21
AMS, press the blue spanner at the top right, then choose 'adapt'
From there you can change all the quantities, including your nicotine, amount to make etc.
#46 by Tehdan93, Aug 23. 2015, 04:32
Could i switch New York Cheesecake with maybe a Graham Cracker?
#47 by H3lf1r3, Aug 28. 2015, 11:31
Made some of this up last night 27/08/2015 This goes above and beyond expectation! Shake & Vape no doubt about it!! I made this with the exact amounts and flavours. All I changed was 80 / 20 VG and 3ml nic. I think because of the NY Cheesecake that's what makes this a shake & vape custard. I expect this to only get better and better and better right after the 5 day mark! Going to make up a phat batch of this tonight so I can carry on vaping it and have enough steeping. Yeah when it comes to this I have exactly NO patience.
#48 by Dushy, Sep 1. 2015, 23:19
Hi I have a question can I use (TPA) French Vanilla? It's all I have I don't feel like ordering from (CAP), But If anyone tried it does it make a difference or no? Please let me know!
#49 by The Vaping Goat , Sep 1. 2015, 23:32
It's bound to make /some/ difference but should be ok. It's the French vanilla that adds the caramel hint as it steeps so use TPA FV accordingly.
I'd seriously recommend getting Cap FV V1 in though.
I made a batch of this swapping the NYCC for TPA Cheesecake Graham Crust and it was good. Different but still good.
#50 by BIGDADDY7163, Sep 5. 2015, 17:35
Started diy a month ago. This was my first recipe i tried. Love it. Gotta have it. Gonna add some butterscotch to see if it will taste like pinups marilyn. Will let ya know. Recommend this recipe for anyone just starting diy. A week steep, and its golden goodness. Thanks
#51 by Juice Junkie, Oct 9. 2015, 03:36
Made this juice and tried it straight away and was pretty disappointed, so I doubled the flavour percentages and it tasted even worse lol. I figured all these peeps giving it such a high rating couldn't be wrong so I just left it to steep. After two days I read an alternative and much quicker way to steep was to put the ejuice bottle in hot water with the lid off for ten minutes then shake it vigoursly. Repeat a few time and hey presto juice steeped. Well damn, after few baths the colour changed from light yellow to a deeper caramel. The scent changed from a beautiful custard to a more subtle but lovely caramel, and the vape went from bloody bland to epic. It tastes to me just like Arise (strawberry and custard) by the cloud company. ADV for sure. I won't be buying eliquid again now know there are recipes as good as this. Thanks for sharing Ole Frederiksen!
#52 by bluefox, Oct 15. 2015, 06:33
Very nice. Used TFA french vanilla creme and Cap custard v2 and it came out great.
#53 by Thatserrday, Oct 19. 2015, 23:21
I'm new to DIY and just got the flavors today in the mail. Followed this recipe to the T and I absolutely love it. Started with a 30ml and made an additional 60ml. Definitely shake n vape but will let steep and post results. Thanks for this post it's excellent.
#54 by Ahmed Abaza, Nov 1. 2015, 12:45
Super BIG like, steeping it for 4 days after 2 hours in ultrasonic 50c... will try today,,, Cant wait
#55 by Facer, Nov 2. 2015, 19:46
This is very very good. Went hunting for the best DIY, no fruit, Custard on here. After much testing and deliberation, this come second (to Third World Custard) however they are two different animals, so will keep brewing this awesome liquid, for that late night vape. Thanks a mil for sharing!
#56 by RealDrZee, Nov 5. 2015, 17:47
This is definitely best vanilla custard what i have ever taste. It was not good 2 weeks ago, but now after 4 weeks of steeping this is great.
#57 by Ole Frederiksen, Nov 5. 2015, 20:11
Just glad and very happy that you all find it good and usefull

#58 by The Vaping Goat , Nov 5. 2015, 20:15
Definitely a steeper imo. The full 7 days is what I tell people when I show them the recipe. Such a great custard, and one that goes to prove that often the most simple recipes are the best. Thanks again Ole.
#59 by Ahmed Abaza, Nov 5. 2015, 20:21
Bingo !
#60 by trebor, Nov 5. 2015, 20:35
This has been one of my daily vapes for bout 5 months now. It gets really really smooth after 4 weeks. The batch I'm vaping now was made in july and it's awsome. I make 200 ml batches and 2 at a time. Great recipe.
#61 by trebor, Nov 5. 2015, 20:35

#62 by The Vaping Goat , Nov 6. 2015, 08:26
Agreed Trebor. The longer it steeps, the better it gets. I make large batches too, and always make more so I keep steeped juice in stock. I actually enjoy tasting how u changes with time.
#63 by Xander YzWich, Nov 13. 2015, 20:56
I have just ordered the french vanilla to give this a try. I'm looking for a good base to my fruit custards
#64 by West, Nov 14. 2015, 14:38
can i just simply ignore the Water/Vodka/PGA and substitute it with normal PG?..does it change the taste?.
#65 by trebor, Nov 14. 2015, 19:34
I don't add water to mine. Not sure if it changes the taste, but it's damn good.
#66 by Xander YzWich, Nov 14. 2015, 22:03
@trebor thanks for the heads up
#67 by Jasetheace, Nov 14. 2015, 23:50
Is it better to double up on flavours if I'm just making a high VG to PG mix?
#68 by Ole Frederiksen, Nov 15. 2015, 00:18
Don´t know that. ! I would personally take small step´s in that
But you do as you like or feel ! It´s FREE to work on and make your own "Master Recipe" :-) Plz do share that one too later on as we all can benefit from it! (That´s MY ideology in this field ) Open source
#69 by Jasetheace, Nov 15. 2015, 09:55
I will mix up a couple of batches today 1.) using double the flavour 2.) the same recipe above, without the 10% Water/PGA/Vodka, just high VG! Will report back in 3-4 weeks, thanks Ole ! 👍🏼
#70 by CMOZ, Nov 18. 2015, 13:54
@Ole Frederiksen one week without cap or with cap on ? Isnt the nic lowered half after 1 week top off ?
#71 by Ole Frederiksen, Nov 18. 2015, 17:22
My guess there is that our nic will be maybe max 1mg down, after a week with the cap off. I can´t tell any difference in mine :-)
But it works wonders in the flavour/taste !
#72 by Phlopalopagus, Nov 18. 2015, 22:26
I had to sub French V for V Ice cream and it was great then I went back and added half a mil of sweet cream and it is now the best juice ive had in a long time. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
#73 by yiana, Nov 24. 2015, 04:09
This is really delicious! I don't have french vanilla so I had to sub vanilla swirl. I also upped the percentages to 4.5 v.swirl. 4.5 ny cheesecake, and 6 v.custard. great, and it's only been a little over a day. Which is crazy as all I read is let custard steep. So I can only imagine it getting even better. Definitely recommend. Thanks alot!!!
#74 by Phlopalopagus, Nov 24. 2015, 09:44
I agree Yiana it is a shake and vape for me too. I went back and added some graham cracker and made that my main flavor and I love it now it tastes like a bowl of graham cracker with milk all over it. Its my adv now.
#75 by The Vaping Goat , Nov 24. 2015, 10:58
I find the after a week as Ole said, it begins to come alive. It keeps changing and changing, always for the better and eventually becomes beautifully rich as the caramel note of the French Vanilla begins to come through.
#76 by yiana, Nov 25. 2015, 04:02
Ooh, Phlopalopagus, that sounds good. I like graham cracker. By your name, you wouldn't happen to be Greek would you?
#77 by Phlopalopagus, Nov 25. 2015, 07:59
Yiana nope im a real big guy and I had a nick name (Phlop) all my life then someone made a spin off of Snufalufagus off of mean streets of Sesame....it stuck.
#78 by yiana, Nov 28. 2015, 04:53
Haha, just was thinking about the last part of your name, I'm greek and it sounded greek! Hilarious, Snufalufagus must be greek. Anyways, a week into this, the flavors are developing more, and quite frankly delicious. I made my mother in law some and gave it to her today. She got me into vaping over 2 years ago. I want to make her juice for her. She spends over $40 a week. I have been very happy with diy. Just want to give thanks for the people who share recipes. Thank you :)
#79 by babayaga, Dec 5. 2015, 23:27
How does this compare to Cyclops Colossuss?
#80 by trebor, Dec 6. 2015, 05:54
I added .5% fw yellow cake, not that the recipe was bad, but it added a little different and delicious taste to it.
#81 by BoyHowdy, Dec 8. 2015, 10:17
Good custard ,thanks for posting!
#82 by skineedog, Dec 25. 2015, 19:41
Made with TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream in place of the French Vanilla and has become an ADV for me. Awesome. Thank you!
#83 by jimbob0112, Jan 3. 2016, 16:29
great recipe with just these three flavours. I made a 70/30 VG/PG batch and its awesome straight out the water bath. can't wait to taste it in a few weeks
#84 by Ole Frederiksen, Jan 22. 2016, 18:58
It´s actually mentioned in the recipe.. :-)
"PPS Water/VodkaPGA used to dilute my very thick VG (Thick as syrup)"
So YES you can use distilled water if needed ! Feel free
#85 by Kraven, Jan 28. 2016, 21:39
OMG, just revisited this recipe. I haven't made a custard in awhile. Ole's recipe with %2 FA Fuji Apple. I can't stop vaping this. Thanks again!
#86 by Olson1917, Jan 29. 2016, 04:35
My ADV.
#87 by Xander YzWich, Feb 1. 2016, 03:57
I love this. Just tried it with 1% marshmallow TPA and it's very nice.
#88 by Perry.L, Feb 3. 2016, 21:18
God knows what I done but I followed the recipe exactly, steeped it in an ultrasonic machine for 4x30 mins but for some strange reason mine tastes like gone off milk, any advice?
#89 by Ole Frederiksen, Feb 3. 2016, 21:26
Sorry to hear that Perry :-(
Honestly I don´t know what has gone wrong there!
I can only guess, as well as you can, too !
My only guess here is some sort of "pollution" in your process of making it ! Haven´t experienced anything like that !
Best wishes and keep up the Vape!
#90 by Perry.L, Feb 3. 2016, 21:32
I'm going to leave it be for 2 weeks then see if there's an improvement, I have high hopes due to everyone else's success with the recipe
#91 by woodsnake, Feb 3. 2016, 21:38
Did you heat it in the ultrasonic Perry? Heat might be hurting some of the flavours in this. I make this on the regular with a few additions and changes. Taste is subjective, and I have come across maybe 2 out of the 10 who've tried it that don't enjoy it, but I'm with OLE, I think somethings up with your particular mix of this one maybe, or the ingredients. Maybe make a few 5mls up of each flavour used and try them on their own to see if you detect anything weird going on
#92 by Perry.L, Feb 3. 2016, 21:41
I mean the small is amazing but strangely it isn't tasting like the smell, but this is the first recipe I have ever made so I guess I can learn from my mistakes
#93 by Perry.L, Feb 3. 2016, 21:41
The smell*
#94 by woodsnake, Feb 3. 2016, 22:15
Also for fun, and science, try just VG/PG at the ratio you mixed this at, and try that, then add the same amount of nic to that, and try again... make sure you shake after adding nic, but could be on of those ingredients as well.
#95 by RDomingos, Feb 8. 2016, 21:19
i've got a question.. can i use Dulce de leche instead of french vanilla? Im out of french vanilla and wanted to try this way.. what do u ppl think?
#96 by Jonathan Clifton, Feb 11. 2016, 13:32
Did everyone use vodka / DW in this? Only been mixing few weeks and not to clued up on the use of them and don't really want to use them either lol ta
#97 by Xander YzWich, Feb 11. 2016, 15:50
@jonathan Clifton I make this in MaxVG and no water/vodka and it's great. The water/vodka is to this the juice for quicker wicking, especially in smaller pen style tanks
#98 by Jonathan Clifton, Feb 11. 2016, 17:52
@xander Yzwich thanks mate I'm a dripper so I'll just do it 80/20 :) thanks pal
#99 by MysticRose, Feb 16. 2016, 05:49
Thank you for sharing. This was good after a 4 week steep. This is a very sweet and basic custard. Good, but not complex or rich and no thick mouth feel with this one. Very good for those that like a lighter custard.
#100 by Hazatem, Feb 19. 2016, 01:55
I have this flavours tpa not cap what percentage that should i make because i dont have cap flavours??thanks in advance am new in diy
#101 by yiana, Feb 19. 2016, 19:16
Hazatem, I had subbed the french vanilla for tfa/tpa vanilla swirl. What kind of cheesecake do you have?
#102 by Xander YzWich, Feb 20. 2016, 03:13
@mysticrose I added 1% marshmallow and increased the mouth feel
#103 by Hazatem, Feb 20. 2016, 03:36
@yiana Cheese cake graham crust
#104 by yiana, Feb 20. 2016, 08:16
Hazatem, I woild try it with that one. I know the regular cheesecake by tfa isn't that good. But I like the cheesecake w/graham crust. It would change it a bit. But I'm sure it would still be good. You should try it and see.
#105 by BlackMarketMixer, Feb 21. 2016, 23:43
I'm about to make this in about an hour because I'm looking for a great custard. I have everything but FV (its in my next order.) Am I better off using TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream or FA Vanilla Bourbon or FA Madagascar Classic Vanilla? Also I'm provably going to make this at 70/30 VG/PG, should I bother with adding vodka or DW? I also have EM but idk how I feel about adding it. I'll be making 60ml with 3mg of 100mg VaporsTek nic in VG.
#106 by Hazatem, Feb 22. 2016, 00:52
Thanks yiana i made it with tpa flavours and i doubled it and i pud 1% sugar i am steeping it now i will test it and tell u :D
#107 by Indiana, Feb 22. 2016, 02:10
subbed new york cheese cake with graham cracker and french vanilla TPA instead of capella - modified for 75/35 VG/PG - delicious - not too sweet - thank you so much. Straight up shake and vape
#108 by SS, Mar 4. 2016, 22:42
Has become my #1 vape--have found this one smoother and very light tasting...as in not heavy if that makes sense--hard to find a VC vape for me that isn't even the teeniest bit harsh. There is another version on this site i love to but this one in the end wins out, for me.
This one is superb. Thank you
#109 by The Vaping Goat , Mar 4. 2016, 23:02
@ShelaghDB, I love vaping this as it steeps and tasting how it changes. It's blooming fantastic right from 10 days through to a good few months old when it's truly matured. After 7 days, it teases me, because I can taste how delicious it is, but leaves me wanting more flavour. Luckily the flavour comes through.
#110 by Hazatem, Mar 10. 2016, 01:57
Vanillaa ice cream work instead of french vanilla??
#111 by The Vaping Goat , Mar 10. 2016, 08:08
French Vanilla is totally different, it has the caramel note.
#112 by Hazatem, Mar 10. 2016, 13:05
Ok thanks man :D iwll bring it
#113 by Olson1917, Mar 10. 2016, 17:29
This is my ADV for a month+. Just got done making 300mls of this delicious liquid.
#114 by jimbob0112, Mar 15. 2016, 18:26
Any suggestion on what could replace N Y cheesecake.
This has been my ADV for months but would like something acetone/acetyle free.
thanks
#115 by Hazatem, Mar 16. 2016, 22:08
French vanilla cap is different from tpa ?
is it gonna work with French vanilla tpa ?because that's what I have
#116 by Richy25, Mar 25. 2016, 13:34
made as is no water added, simply amazing custard! SO I want to make fruit versions of this mainly FA mango or raspberry, do I just add maybe 1% of my fruit to this, will it be enough? thanks a lot fr my 1st and last custard vape !!!!!!
#117 by Richy25, Mar 25. 2016, 13:35
the coulds are amazing of this beast! only steeped one day truly lush.
#118 by The Vaping Goat , Mar 25. 2016, 13:38
FA Fruits: I use 2-2.5% generally. That amount is for a definitely there but not overpowering taste. Use a little less for just a hint.
With this recipe I'd be careful as when fully steeped (a couple of months) the caramel from the French Vanilla really comes through quite a lot.
#119 by W0WZA, Mar 29. 2016, 22:16
How long does this one need to steep? I made it a few days ago..
#120 by The Vaping Goat , Mar 29. 2016, 22:50
As the creator says 'a week' but it's still in its childhood then. I love vaping it from 10days onwards and tasting how it changes over time. It just keeps on improving!
#121 by W0WZA, Mar 29. 2016, 22:52
Ok, thanks. I'll wait then, I have enough juice to vape.. :D
#122 by MysticRose, Mar 30. 2016, 01:19
With custards, the longer the steep the richer and better it gets. I recommend making it in a few different bottles. Try 1 each week to +4 weeks. You will be amazed at the flavor change!
#123 by W0WZA, Apr 5. 2016, 15:11
Why would you let the top of for a week?
#124 by N, May 4. 2016, 18:40
127 comments cant lie !
#125 by Richy25, May 5. 2016, 11:59
Just got a 100ml batch coming up to a meeting month old, smells deep!
I like it with 2% raspberry FA, but FA mango was a bit bitter with it, TFA strawberry was also nice.
#126 by NDrinks, May 14. 2016, 17:00
I've only had this steeping for a week but it's definitely a good one. I haven't had Grant's in so long it's hard to compare but it compares well to Accie's Ambrosia which I always thought was almost identical to Grant's.
#127 by jeffro422, May 18. 2016, 05:46
Shake and vape or let it steep. Just keeps getting better. Make a lot or make a few bottles to let steep.
#128 by Ggrhauling, May 31. 2016, 16:49
Taste like CosmicFog to me milk & honey? Wondering if I miss labeled the bottle when making this a month ago iris that the taste? Was expecting a nice custard creamy but in stead the devil showed up. Not my favorite flavor no matter what you call it.
#129 by BOBO, Jun 3. 2016, 11:42
this been my ADV for months - best ever recipe.. Many thanks
#130 by daisychainvaper, Jul 16. 2016, 12:29
did not like it as a shake and vape and was disappointed, delicious after 1 week, I think it will still improve! Great and easy recipe. Perfect with only 10% flavoring.. that's my style :)! Thanks!
#131 by mlNikon , Jul 18. 2016, 07:36
This is so delicious! I gave up sweets and this is just like eating the most delectable dessert. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Can i use VC v2 instead of v1?
#134 by Bistro1438, Aug 9. 2016, 19:06
Of course
#135 by fatman, Aug 20. 2016, 15:38
did this with 70/30 3 mg nbase. Didn't use any water etc because my nbase provider includes %1 distilled water in their nbases. I didn't leave the cap open but breathe it daily in 100 ml plastic bottle. 100 ml bottle for 50 ml liquid gives good room for breathing. I did this for 2,5 weeks. All alcohol smell is gone and the best vape of all time is left for me. i was in a vapers gathering yesterday i shared it friends and it was the favorite of the night. Key is to wait and breathe. 2 weeks + was key time for me. thank you so much
#136 by Zugmaschine, Sep 4. 2016, 01:37
But by breathing its loosing flavour! Thats proofed!
#137 by LCATTANVAPE, Sep 5. 2016, 14:00
First batch 250 ml.. hope it goes right, Thanx for the recipe
#138 by Rconrad, Sep 7. 2016, 06:41
I tried this with tfa cheesecake and it was horrible. Is tfa cheesecake much stronger then caps? Thats the only thing i can think of because the tfa cheeses ake was overwhelming in the batch i made. Just curious the difference between tfa and caps cheesecake. Thanks!!
#139 by ongoingdata, Sep 7. 2016, 08:08
Yeah CAP one is the best. atleast what i heard from peeps, never have tasted others. just get it and you will not be disappointed at it.
happy vaping :)
#140 by MysticRose, Sep 7. 2016, 09:00
Most people think TFA Cheesecake is nasty like dirty feet. Their cheesecake with graham crust is good though, but slightly different than NY Style. I haven't tried TFA plain Cheesecake, but have heard horror stories. Please try it again with Cap, this is very good.
#141 by Rconrad, Sep 7. 2016, 11:35
Ok. My bad. It was tfa cheesecake graham crust i used not cheesecake. I didnt know tfa had a regular cheesecake. Anyway-im not knocking the recipe because obviously its well loved-yet the batch i made was nothing like grants vc which i assumed it may be similar because of the title of the diy juice.
#142 by Rconrad, Sep 7. 2016, 11:38
Ps-and this was after a 2 month steep. All custards are better the longer the steep as im sure yall know. Happy vaping!
#143 by MysticRose, Sep 7. 2016, 22:06
Yeah, they are better with a long steep. If you used the cheesecake with graham crust, that one is not bad. Still slightly different, but not awful. So I would say maybe this recipe might not be a good one for you. I'm sorry. I thought it was good. Not great, but good. But you know how we all taste things differently :-/
#144 by Rconrad, Sep 8. 2016, 11:45
Thanks MysticRose! Do you have a favorite vc diy? I do vape grants but its so xpensive-yet im having a hard time replicating it. Ive heard caps vc with ddl but the ddl is wrong-grants is more like caps vc with a slight cream and a slight vanilla but hes got something unidentifiable thats driving me nuts. You seem to have made a zillion recipes so im hoping you have some ideas. If not-cool-if yea-even cooler. Happy vaping!
#145 by MysticRose, Sep 8. 2016, 12:10
TBH, I'm a novice myself. Next month will be my 1 year anniversary on diy. I think I do have a couple custards listed for public, but there are others much better than mine. I have never had the real Grant's Custard, so no idea what it really tastes like. Third Wold Custard is very good, although I sub FW Cake Batter Dip in Place of CAP, can't stand the stuff. Also Kreed's Kustard seems to have gotten good reviews. My favorite of mine is Vanilla Dream Custard. Good luck, and welcome to the wonderful world of diy :D
#146 by Rconrad, Sep 8. 2016, 23:29
Ive always used wizard labs nicotine but im starting to think it has a chalky/ash-y after taste to it. Im not sure if its the nicoine brand or what so i ordered a small bottle from carolina xtracts to compare. I also heard nude nicotine and vaperstek are good nicotine but ive read that carolina xtracts is the top dog of them all. Ill soon find out. Good day MysticRose!
#147 by flavaflav, Sep 14. 2016, 08:10
without a doubt the best juice i've made myself. I made a 1.5 L batch that's reaching its end now after about 2 and a half months and the flavor is incredible. this one just gets better with time
#148 by Character, Sep 22. 2016, 12:18
Do we really need to tale rhe the top off for a week ?
#149 by The Vaping Goat , Sep 22. 2016, 15:03
You could squeeze old air out when you give it its daily shake instead I suppose
#150 by Character, Sep 22. 2016, 15:37
Might be as well since i am not confident on leaving it open for a week in ky place since there are children around and might stumble the liquid if i left it even on my closet :)
#151 by Zugmaschine, Sep 23. 2016, 22:17
You cant squeeze a Glasboottle @The Vaping Goat ...
#152 by cigetbudi, Oct 3. 2016, 11:17
i have TPA French Vanilla Deluxe, TPA Cheesecake and Cheescake (graham crust) too.
can i use them ?
#153 by X, Oct 3. 2016, 19:36
@woodsnake. I just started looking @ DIY and I was wondering what is the ratios on the flavors if you bump it up to 15%? I used the calculator on the site by clicking the blue spanner and it comes out to some large numbers. I'm just trying to make sense ov it.
#154 by flavaflav, Oct 5. 2016, 09:24
@XXTruBearXX if you want 15% instead of the current 10% just multiply the flavors by 1.5. instead of 3/3/4% you get 4.5/4.5/6%
#155 by X, Oct 5. 2016, 13:23
@flavaflav thank you very much!
#156 by VapingKrakenVK, Oct 14. 2016, 01:10
Anyone tried upping the flavor percentages? I made 120 ml of this , best recipe I made on ELR and I have made a lot of highest rated ones. One thing though, I would like to get a stronger taste, so anyone experienced with increasing the flavor percentage let me know. Thanks in advance.

Amazing flavor! If I could guess what an expensive gourmet custard pastry tasted like, I'd guess this. :]
Rich, sweet, full and creamy, and perfect on the throat. This recipe proves that more is not always better.
I used 48mg Nic in 100% PG to 6mg strength, did not thin and made a 30/70 p/v ratio, and opted to add the 1% EM (tpa).
Shook well the PG ingredients by hand before adding the VG.
Nuked a bowl of dry rice 1 minute, then buried my 30ml plastic bottle in it for 20 minutes.
Shook the warm liquid to beyond a froth in homemade jigsaw rig 4 minutes.
Steeped open to breathe 3-1/2 days (forgot to leave open after one of the random shakings), and overall steeped almost 9 days before trial.
Vaping in an Axiom RBA with an iSub drip tip added (the Axiom is a stub which metals the flavor IMO without a little added chimney), on my first ever coil build (dual 26ga KALs, finishing at abt 0.5 ohms). Getting tons of flavor and vapor at only 24W, full air, and 4-5 secs.
#159 by MAC&CHEESE, Oct 27. 2016, 01:51
Been Mixing for a while now and this is still my fav custard, also works well with a hint of walnut. This should be in everyone's rotation. Steep is important on this 1. I UC for an hr then throw in drawer for a week/shake every day or so. Thanks Sir
#160 by DrChud, Nov 7. 2016, 15:24
This is a great recipe. Only tested about 2ml and I'm going ahead and making 100ml. Thanks for sharing.
#161 by Crochetandcookies, Nov 12. 2016, 05:50
Thank you for the recipe, just mixed up a 15 ml test batch and wow! It already smells amazing. :) Can't wait to put this in my tank after the week steep.
#162 by karen, Nov 17. 2016, 12:30
thanks loving it mixing up my first ever repeat recipe :) now making a bigger batch - only did 30 mls a month ago
#163 by heatho72, Nov 27. 2016, 06:27
@VapingKrakeVK: to adjust the percentages I suggest making this as a flavor base and then mix with that. increase to 12-14% total flavor. this way the ratios stay the same. good luck.
#164 by Ovidius, Dec 18. 2016, 17:58
Very nice custard, love it as ADV and I always have some stashed in a dark place. Does taste better (rounder) after 5 weeks steep.
Good recipe, thanks for sharing
#165 by dalek67, Dec 24. 2016, 16:04
What a simple, non-eggy, delicious, addictive recipe you've created. Well done sir.
#166 by jijithecat, Dec 26. 2016, 20:37
Made this with TFA French Vanilla and it was pretty good after a couple weeks, but I wasn't stoked on it. Forgot about it for 7 months and now it is insane.
#167 by FunnySlumberBunny, Jan 5. 2017, 19:49
Ive not been making my own juice very long at all and Ive never seen the PGA/Water/vodka addition. How important is this for the juice to be good? I have some Burnetts in the freezer I guess I could use but why? What does it do? Im learning so I really want to understand what this does! Thanks guys!
#168 by jijithecat, Jan 5. 2017, 20:03
@ColonelRebFan says in the description he uses it to thin out his VG, I'm guessing so it'll work in a tank better, or could just be to make handling it easier. I don't think it's that important to the flavor, just a user preference, but I'm no expert. Make sure you let this one steep a good bit though
#169 by FunnySlumberBunny, Jan 6. 2017, 04:30
Thanks so much for answering jijithecat I sure appreciate it! Patience isnt my strong suit so thanks for the reminder!
#170 by ziggy, Jan 17. 2017, 16:54
Hi! I was wondering why to leave the juice with top off botle for an week? I feel like it's too long to keep the top off. I am also new at this, so maybe i miss something here. I made this at 13% 30/70 6mg. Thank you for the recipe.
#171 by dalek67, Jan 17. 2017, 17:07
Ziggy, don't leave the top off. It will be fine.
#172 by FunnySlumberBunny, Jan 28. 2017, 21:46
I am trying to recreate a Vanilla Bourbon Custard I hve fallen in love wth. Would you suggest I sub Vanilla Bourbon in place of French Vanilla or make it an addition?
#173 by DRipZ115, Mar 1. 2017, 14:45
do you have to add Water/Vodka/PGA?
im new to diy
#174 by The Vaping Goat , Mar 1. 2017, 14:51
@DRipZ115 no you don't. I never use it, only pg, vg, nicotine and the concentrates.
#175 by Sighs, Mar 9. 2017, 00:22
I like this. Hidden in a cupboard for 4 weeks top on its even better nice job 5 out of 5
#176 by Kay, Mar 14. 2017, 02:13
I am totally new to DIY. I have all my supplies but want to be sure I understand it completely before I start mixing. This recipe sounds great considering I am a custard vape fan. Is this recipe for a 50 ml bottle? If so, what math calculations do I need to do to make a 30 ml bottle? Thank you in advance for the help.
#177 by Kay, Mar 14. 2017, 03:40
Hi Geb,
Thank you for taking the time to give me such a detailed answer. You've been extremely helpful. I will follow through with your help. I don't see where any sweetener was added to this recipe, did you add any? I don't like my ejuice super sweet, just a hint is nice. Thank you again. I am excited to get started!!
#178 by DRipZ115, Mar 14. 2017, 03:59
@The Vaping Goat thanks :)
I mixed a 50ml bottle and loved it
now working my way through 500ml
#179 by Hiwayhero, Mar 18. 2017, 23:50
I mixed up 300 ml of this last night and pulled of 30 ml to vape now, so good! I added 2 ml of graham cracker (TFA) and 2 ml of Marshmallow for sweetness and mouth feel! Thanks for sharing this recipe! Vape on brothers and sisters 😀 💨💨💨
#180 by ChainVaper, Mar 28. 2017, 08:48
Hey guys, mixed up a 60ml batch of this and although I did enjoy the flavour I found it very faint and was expecting an awesome strong custard. I'm new to DIY, is the faintless or lack of flavour due to not steeping? I only steep a day or two.
#181 by Ole Frederiksen, Mar 28. 2017, 17:10
#181 ChainVaper Give it a few days more and then judge it !
Normal failure that most "first timers do" is adding in more taste to the mix before it has reached it´s peak level.. then after it turns VERY bad tasting! So I can only say one thing.. Patience and .. wait an bit! :-)
#182 by tenten, Mar 30. 2017, 21:01
Allright after two weeks but its perfect after 25 days
#183 by ChainVaper, Mar 31. 2017, 10:07
Ole Frederiksen I have some steeping in a dark spot and can't wait to give it a burl after a week or two.
#184 by Olson1917, Mar 31. 2017, 19:47
Update #3. I have capes this exclusively for about 15 months. In that time I have probably made around 12 liters at least of this stuff and I LOVE IT!!!
#185 by Vapeoz, Apr 2. 2017, 15:52
Need advice on steeping. Can I steep for 3-4 weeks then add the nic and will be the same as if I added nic before steeping?
#186 by Olson1917, Apr 2. 2017, 17:13
Vapeoz, non nicotine juices do not steep very well. The nic is what really catapults them into flavor heaven. So I would highly suggest that you not do that.
#187 by Ron B, Apr 11. 2017, 01:26
I mixed 60 mls on 12/16. I forgot about it. Just found it and it's delicious.! I'm not a big custard guy, but this Is tasty. Thanks!
#188 by William D, Apr 18. 2017, 20:06
Gave it a six week steep and not too my taste - I'm a big custard fan but like them much richer. I've since tried the original and defo found this better so credit to the creator :-) . I think Grants are pretty overrated imo.
#189 by Glenn, May 1. 2017, 14:33
just added vanilla swirl at 1.5%, definitely my adv thanks!
#190 by northern_vaper, May 6. 2017, 18:41
Honestly this recipe is perfect. IMO each flavor is essential and should not be subbed. The Fench Vanilla from TFA is nothing like CAP's. Actually all the TFA versions of these flavors taste nothing like CAP's. If you opt to sub, you're not vaping "this" recipe. I've tried tinkering with different company's offering of these flavors and CAP is the way to go if you want a true but bold custard.
#191 by Vulpes79, May 17. 2017, 12:28
My nicotine is way more powerfull than the one you've used. It's at 92, but I only want 3mg strengh. Do you think it will overpower the taste? Sorry if the question seems noobish, but I've just recently started doing my DIY juices.
#192 by dalek67, May 17. 2017, 12:47
Vulpes79 click the adapt button and enter your nic base. The recipe will recalculate the other dilutants so it comes out correctly.
#193 by HBA_Vape, Jun 15. 2017, 04:57
any substitute for french vanilla?
#194 by skeppy, Jul 2. 2017, 23:51
check the comments HBA_Vape ;-) you could go with TFA/TPA french vanilla creme? a few people seem to have had alright luck using TFA VBIC but it would certainly taste different from the original I can tell you that :-) What kind of vanilla's do you have at hand, may be able to advise abit further then. Peace
#195 by HBA_Vape, Jul 3. 2017, 13:32
@ skeppy, thanks for reply. I have Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (Cap), Vanilla Whipped Cream (Cap), and Vienna Cream (FA), not sure if the last one counts as vanilla though. I will read the comments above too. many thanks
#196 by Grugs83, Jul 26. 2017, 17:13
Loved this recipe. Only made 10mls. Will definitely be making 100. Such a nice creamy custard!!!
#197 by 1967lefty, Sep 7. 2017, 23:57
Will I be able to get the same result if I use max VG and my flavors being the only PG??? Does anyone know? What adjustments would I need to make?
#198 by Frank, Sep 18. 2017, 00:18
@ 1967lefty, I made this at 10% 10/90 3mg, just add 4-6 weeks extra steeping
#199 by 1967lefty, Sep 18. 2017, 02:03
Thank you Frank I try not to add much pg in any of my mixes.
#200 by Zugmaschine, Sep 18. 2017, 15:45
Can anyone Compare it with Kreeds Custard ( e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/429399/Kreed%27s%20Kustard ) please ? I have only mixed Kreeds until, because i thought it is stronger in flavour! Is it really only stronger than this recipe, or where else is the diffrence?
#201 by Shane, Sep 19. 2017, 02:32
I'm sure I commented on this, now I can't remember, I'm not here, or wasn't but I am now, know what I mean? Err, I don't! Crap now I don't know if I made this one first or Kreeds, anyway the custard I made first was the one I liked, anyway I'm not making anymore custard I've gone of the stuff, one of them was real good though. That's what you get for mixing 100ml each of tons of different juice, not taking notes and still having shed loads with no labels from months ago, its all good I'll remember, NOT, ahhhh! So both 5 stars!
#202 by PathVape, Sep 19. 2017, 22:48
Your way is a great one. One of the best custard recipes I tried both diy and commercial. Thanks
#203 by AdryDoic, Oct 3. 2017, 12:29
Mixed w weeks ago and not so great flavour intil now.. 3 days ago i made a 60ml batch but was missing nicotine base..so i have made it without nicotin base , just 60vg/36pg/4h²0 base without the missing 20ml of 70/30 18nic base.
All the flavour exactly 10% like Oles recipe , just added 1% Cotton candy.
Now..so it was sunday and my supplier in citty is closed for get the nicotin ..the juice steeped about 18 hours without any nicotin and cap open !
Next day i get my nicotin and put in the steeped juice ..DAAAM WHAT A INCREDIBILE FLAVOUR !...i cant belive it ..my idea over years was that the nicotin is taken out the flavour...but thats all bullshit.
Because the juice steeped 18 hours without nicotin is already now 100 times better than the same juice steeped for at least 2 weeks !.
I dont know why ..but it is !
My only suggest is ..stay low with VG lime Oles ..VG is flavour killer.
#204 by Stan5677, Oct 9. 2017, 01:25
can this be used as a base for adding fruits?

Cap NYCC v2 is different from Cap NYCC?
is it gonna work with Cap NYCC v2? because that's what I have - 2 bottles!
#206 by Howard Hughes, Nov 14. 2017, 17:45
I made this in July & after a couple of weeks I thought it was just ok. Three weeks later I knew you had something. I'm now just finishing a batch I tweaked that's almost 3 months old & it is quite excellent! I will say that I had to turn it up to suit my max VG, sub-ohm style, but it's very nice & rich. Same flavors, but I went: 4% CAP French Vanilla, 3.5% CAP NY Cheesecake & 7% CAP Vanilla Custard (might be why it took so long to steep, lol). Thanks for sharing.
#207 by UièreVaper, Nov 22. 2017, 04:51

this is my second round of a 100ml batch, i cant quite remember how the first batch steeped timewise, but i do know it was one of the best darn custards id ever vaped, so saying that i went back for more.... im 4.3 weeks in on the second 100ml and it still tastes short.... has anyone else experienced this with GVC. does it need 8 weeks or so...?????? any comments would help.....

Very good! Perfect combo between the two basic ingredients, giving a base to a whole universe for experimenting.

Love GVC, love this. No bazillion flavour recipe required. Shake and vapes surprisingly well for a custard. Rightfully one of the best rated recipes on the site.
#215 by Teamcarp, Jan 17. 2018, 05:54
Its been years since i had GVC but this is a very nice vanilla custard probably one of the best i have tried thanks!
#216 by delltrapp, Jan 17. 2018, 16:36
I just made this recipe 2 weeks ago with some adjustments, and it's great now. Honestly, i thought it's going to be weak flavor, but it's not. Thank you for this recipe.
#217 by Inspects, Feb 1. 2018, 06:48
Great combination of flavors, after a little aging I added a few drops of Caps Lemon Grass....delicious!
#218 by NorthSendsHisClouds, Feb 2. 2018, 13:31

#219 by Jayhuz , Feb 5. 2018, 22:16
Tried this on and gotta say one of my new favs great work
#220 by firetiger1021, Apr 9. 2018, 03:34
This is pretty tasty, thank you for sharing! :)
#221 by Zugmaschine, Apr 11. 2018, 22:24
Until now i made only Kreeds Custard. today i made a 30ml Tester to see this one is also tasty and not to weak.
#222 by Nesius, Apr 19. 2018, 10:50
I left the cap off for a week and the flavour is gone...Magic.
#223 by firetiger1021, Apr 20. 2018, 22:23
Yeah I dunno why it says that.
#224 by Zugmaschine, Apr 21. 2018, 00:41
@Nesius that not Magic, t normal. There is no alcohol in the flavours, so the juice must not breath ...
#225 by Jbird357, May 17. 2018, 15:05
Adapted for recipe to flavors I have. Came out great. Thanks
#226 by OG ELWOOD, Oct 26. 2018, 01:10
Not sure if you're still with us, anyhow... just tasted after restraining for only 10 days... IMMEDIATELY made 120 ml. Excited to taste after a month! Thank you!
#227 by Anthony, Nov 5. 2018, 03:29
Lucky I found this recipe I didn't know that it originated from this site! Flavour Boss have removed the recipe from the description for some reason!
#228 by Aryashko, Dec 16. 2018, 04:01
Excellent vape! only allowed it to steep for 5 days and it tasted fantastic!

the taste reminds me of Killer Custard but a bit thinner, i love it! thank you!
#229 by Phil Critch, Mar 7. 2019, 18:19
Just made a 50ml, steep time, then I'll give some feedback. Can't wait to taste.
#230 by Phil Critch, Mar 21. 2019, 14:32
Great stuff, added 3% of Capella Sweet Strawberry and it's awesome
#231 by kundalini, Apr 2. 2019, 15:23
I tried loads of custard recipes and found them lacking or "thin" feeling. This is the only one that satisfies. It's even pretty sweet although I'm gonna add some sucralose to the next batch as I like my vape very sweet. So thank you OP, this is going to be the base for all of my custard recipes going forward!
#232 by Lars, Apr 4. 2019, 16:40
Still a great recipe. I've made it as is and I've also switched the French Vanilla (Cap) with 1.5% Holy Vanilla (DIYFS) - It was very nice!
#233 by Ciccio1, May 10. 2019, 21:57
nice simple and sweet
#234 by Jenko6, Jul 17. 2019, 01:09
I made a 30mil and it just went straight away. I think this is a great recipe and it's one of my top vapes atm so thanks for sharing this recipe defo a keeper
#235 by Ed, Nov 23. 2019, 00:51
Amazing flavor freshly mixed. Can't wait to taste it steeped
#236 by Solix, Dec 5. 2019, 18:46
SnV.. Amazing! Mixing another to steep , this one is going to be enjoyed thoroughly!

Best custard I’ve tried lovely
#239 by aburley, Jun 9. 2020, 18:37
Probably the best vanilla mix i have made. Its stunning.
#240 by rightbrainvapor, Oct 5. 2020, 23:56
Made with V2's of everything here. Less than 24 hours since mixed, but still quite good, thus far. Thank you!
#241 by DanielTheVapeMan, Nov 28. 2020, 01:15
This is the oldest recipe I've seen on here and ironically, I can tell it's good and not overly percentaged lol
#242 by Olson1917, Dec 21. 2020, 01:19
Still my exclusive ADV for 5+ years. I do not vape anything else sub ohm. Sooooo good.
#243 by Howard Hughes, Jan 28. 2021, 01:43
I've been making this at about 14% for the last 4 years. It's a really nice recipe. Thanks for sharing it!
#244 by mathyou killyou, Feb 19. 2021, 00:56
Hey can i sub 3% TFA Vanilla Swirl for the French Vanilla? They both do the same thing damn near, both are great at adding that defined creamy vanilla PUNCH almost like v1 Cap custard does .... Vanilla swirl is as versatile as Cap v1 custard IMO, or VBIC too. Just my opinion...
#245 by Mowgli, Aug 16. 2021, 05:19
Made 25ml - steeped 6 weeks - sucked it down in 1.5 days - No regrets - still killer in 2021 - 5 stars
#246 by Kilz, Oct 29. 2021, 01:15
This juice was my first step in DIY early this year. Still making it and prefer it fresh, under a couple of weeks old. Thing is, a 120ml usually never makes it that long.
#247 by NZSLICK, Nov 21. 2021, 12:30
Made this as my first juice. Was good but tweaked it a little to suit my taste. This was an excellent juice to make and cant make enough to keep up with my own demands. My tweaks are: dropped the water, added .5% super sweet (cap) and made it 25/75 ratio and best tasting after at least a 3 weeks steep.
#248 by lady crooks, Feb 24. 2022, 02:57
Mabye it's me then I gave mine away after waiting 30+,days. I didn't like it. No subs on ingredients either. I'll have to mix a bit here see what's up
#249 by DAVE LLOYD, Oct 7. 2022, 11:37
Made 100ml. Vaping it on a Kylin Pro m. Very nice. Probably won't last long enough to steep out!
#250 by XLDGN, Dec 12. 2022, 14:00
I see that this is for making 60%VG. I make my juices in 80% VG.
Should i ramp the flavour up to 15% or 20% ?
#251 by Matt, Jan 3. 2023, 01:13
Best recipe on this site, bar none. I make litres of it.
#252 by Chillhouse, Jan 26. 2023, 18:22
No use the VG instead of water
#253 by Mowgli, Jul 15, 23:19
Whipping up another 8oz batch of Grant's today. Max VG, 2% distilled water to approximate 70VG viscosity. I mix it a few times a year because it's the perfect recipe if you wait out the steep.
Thanks again Ole Frederiksen!
#254 by Mowgli, Jul 15, 23:23
I steep it 6 weeks as suggested in comments years ago.
5 weeks = OK
6 weeks = perfect
Let it sit, it's worth it
#255 by gitte, Aug 18, 15:25
Best ever! Tak Ole ❤️
